There was a brief pause when their eyes met, and Suga was the first to look away. He didn't catch the faint curl at the corner of Zion's lips, and when a soft scoff followed, Suga turned back— only to find Zion laughing.
Suga knew him too well by now. After spending so much time together, he could tell that wasn't the kind of laugh Zion gave when something was funny. It was the kind that made Suga realize what he'd just said had struck a nerve.
"I didn't mean to— I just… Zion…" Suga stepped closer again, but before he could finish, Zion clicked his tongue.
"You haven't answered me."
"…"
"Do you really think I'm that kind of bastard?"
"No, Zion, it's just… I don't know why I thought—" Suga let out a breath, then met his gaze, serious now. Zion's brows were already drawn tight. "It's just that you.. you don't want to sleep with me… and we barely do it because of my pregnancy, so somehow I ended up thinking maybe you don't like my body… like this."
