Alviss's head was severed, but the spell allowed him to live on, even able to curse loudly.
The headless body, originally stiff in place, suddenly went berserk because of a word from Lance.
However, being exposed in advance posed no threat; Lance didn't even need to make a move as the scholar raised a hand and subdued him with a [Curse of Weakness].
Even the head in Lance's hand seemed affected, its expression suddenly wilting.
Dismas didn't hold back at all, directly kicking the body over, then bending down and stepping on it, pressing a short sword against its heart.
"Lord, I think we should just kill him, we don't have time to waste here."
When had Alviss ever suffered such indignity? Dammit, no one sees him as noteworthy, but he is Legendary!
The already wilting head could be seen twitching at the neck, almost spitting out a mouthful of old blood.
