After Nuo Lin calls me a genius, she walks over patting my head.
"Well done," she said, a hint of approval in her voice. I felt a rush of warmth at her praise, but I knew this wasn't the time to relax. There was so much more to this moment than a simple acknowledgment.

Only mom or dad got to praise me often, hearing another person say it is refreshing.
