After the wedding, Dylan had a talk with Benedict. "Why did you take Emma away?" Grinning, Benedict uttered, "Uncle Dyl."
Dylan was silent for a moment before he voiced, "It's Uncle Dylan."
Squeezing himself into Dylan's arms, Benedict sat on his lap and muttered, "Uncle Dyl, I just like Emma. I wasn't taking her away. Don't you want Emma to have a big brother to protect her?"
Staring at the boy, Dylan asked, "Do you mean you to protect her?"
"That's right!" Benedict smacked his own chest. "I'll definitely protect Emma. I won't let anyone be mean to her."
Sensing that the boy was going to grow up more menacing than his father, he said, "You're not going to tell me that you'll be the only one who can be mean to her, right?"
Grinning with his pearly white teeth, Benedict reassured, "No way, Uncle Dyl. You have to trust me. I'm a good kid. I won't bully Emma."
