The calamity of the bug proved to be a surprise in disguise. After the bug was killed, not even its soul was pardoned. Its body along with its soul became my nourishment. And the buzzing sound that the bug produced was also gone after which I could close my eyes and start my focused meditation.
The mechanical voice prompted me to get stronger so that all of my questions could could be answered. And delaying my meditation would result in slower gathering of energy. I wanted to find the big glob of energy once again. The glob of energy that bug had caused me to miss.
Some time had passed in after I was focused on my meditation and my eyes opened only after the mechanical voice rang inside my head once again. I heard it ring one time before but it was not so alarming like this so I ignored the first one.

WOW! A day has ended. There was no any watches here whatsoever and only time I would be able to tell the time was when I looked at my status window. It would tell me how much time has gone since i arrived at warkinels.
I felt that the day was too long. A lot of things happened in the span of a day. A bug was this close on ending my life on my first day of reincarnation and I even levelled up twice on the same day.
After going through all that happened the previous day, I felt a sense of pride. Aren't I advancing too fast? Isn't this speed for leveling too much ? Who could even match my speed ? Two levels in one day, surely it is a talent that is unheard of.
I was feeling smug for a while but the mechanical voice voiced its concern. Its each word was like putting water into a burning fire, slowly killing the fire until it stopped burning altogether.

I....I was too shocked and speachless. I could not react to what I had just heard the mechanical voice say. I thought of me gettting to level 2 within a day was too mind blowing but level 8. What the hell did they even do to reach such a level at such short time ? If I was a genius to reach level 2 in a day then what would the person who reached level 8 in a day be. A god ?
All sorts of questions started bothering me now. What type of monster was the person who got to level 8 ? Was that even humanly possible ? My leveling speed seems very average compared to level 8.

After the mechanical voice stopped its mumbling, I stayed silent for a while. I was thinking of myself as genius but now, I was even below the average. Did killing that bug and levelling up got up to my head ?
It said to speed up my leveling speed ... how the fuck was I supposed to do that now with the body of a tree. Killing one puny mosquito took me hours and you suggest that I kill more fierce beasts. One tiny mosquito nearly took my life and I am supposed to kill fierce beasts.
I was angry at mechanical voice as my inability to move was rubbed in my face by the system.
My thoughts drifted towards last part about the Level 8. The level 8 had killed 13 players this what attracted my attention.
After thinking for a while, I decided to ask the mechanical voice for a answer. " 13 PLAYERS " means beings like me from earth right ?

What kind of psychopathic killer was transported to the world I was in. Who would kill their fellow earthsman in this unknown planet. As I was just thinking about the things about the level. The mechanical voice rang inside my head once again.
1) KILLING FIERCE BEAST WOULD RESULT IN FASTER LEVEL UP.
2) KILLING PLAYERS WAS NOT PROHIBITED.
I was the slowest player to level up and I had only 8 days left to level up now. And the fastest way to do it was to kill fierce beasts. Killing fierce beasts was one thing thing but killing other players came as a little shocking to me.
Transmigrating to another world, turning into a f*cking tree and now murdering. I knew this world was not so welcoming for me as the first beast I encountered was a mosquito, a damned bug but it gave me a literal headache.
But killing among ourselves..... As a person born and raised under strict rules and laws killing other people seemed a little absurd to me. How could murder be justified even if we were transmigrated to another world. Did the fallacy of law directly shatter the moment we arrived at this place.

Ohhh! Now this makes a lot of things clear. Double exp points will surely attract players with psychotic nature to other players. Even in games such concept was there and killing other players was also known as pking.
And with even the materials that are necessary for evolution given through killing others, it would result in a massacre. Everybody wants to be stronger here. Those who evlove fastest will have the chance to be on rankings. Evolution points comes from leveling and evolution material comes from killing beasts. Now everything adds up and makes sense why the level 8 player exists.
Even with everything cleared, leveling up seems to pose a huge problem for me. How can I even level up in this 6 remaining days to appear on the rankings.. neither could I move nor could I kill fierce beasts. If the killer mosquito had brought over some friends it would have been easier. I am in a pinch now.
All of the things can be thought later on, as a whole hour had passed since the start of new day. I better start focusing on cultivating and leveling up. After I reach another level I will assign two more points on mobility attribute and see if I will be able to move or not. If I would be able to move, I will find a place to lay an ambush to kill beasts and level up faster.
