Anyone watching, reading or listening to anything with that in it would be releasing Life Energy, and that would be going toward something that influenced those thoughts and feelings during that time.
That would usually mean that the key part of what they were doing at that time could influence where that Life Energy would go, whether it would go toward the creation of a nine-tailed fox Spirit or it would go toward the closest Spirit that most resembled it.
If someone was influenced by the image of a clown and was scared or was brought to laughter, then that emotion felt would influence the form in which the Life Energy would have as it reached the closest host for it.
Each of those influences involved with Life Energy could cause the rapid growth of a Spirit, just as it could push them closer toward becoming corrupted.
