Fisher, heedless of everything, turned back and raced frantically towards the direction of the stone tower, facing the terrifying tremors of the ground and the endlessly erupting black chaotic matter. A fine layer of cold sweat unconsciously appeared on his forehead. Behind him, the enormous body of the World Tree in the sky above was pressing down on Fisher's heart like an iron wall that covered the sky and the sun.
Under the pincer attack from front and back, Fisher's ideals constantly seemed to remind him that turning back like this was incredibly foolish.
Anyone with any sense would know that, as a demigod burdened with great responsibility by the gods, the World Tree would never stand idly by regarding the happenings here. Besides, this was the Dragon God's territory; what he might face could be more than just the World Tree.
The wisest choice, of course, was to leave now on Mikhail's Cardinal before the demigods acted.
