"Sick? With what?"
"Do you remember that rare illness Gyuri had got when we were still young?"
"You mean... amnesia?"
Myuri nodded.
"Our chief seems to be having the same one."
"Oh my," Heena frowned. She turned towards Alexander, disregarding his intoxicated look; she grabbed a chair and sat right in front of him.
"Can you really not remember?"
"Yeah, I don't remember anything."
Whilst saying this, Alexander tried to stray his eyes from her breasts. Which was a feat he found to be getting harder by the minute.
"Can you help him, Elder Heena?"
'Azuri, besides Alexander', asked Heena. Heena, though, did not answer; she only sighed lightly and pulled Alexander's face towards her.
"I believe her name is Zuri, right?"
Azuri nodded.
Still grasping Alexander's head, her hands then started glowing in a colour similar to her eyes.
Yellowish green.
Alexander, who was the focus of the room, felt a little jittery in his head. But it was a feeling that did not last long. Heena then removed her hands from Alexander's head.
"Can you heal her?"
"I can't say for sure. Before this, has she ever fallen or hit her head hard on something?"
Azuri thought for a minute but ultimately shook her head. But then, she paused as if she had come to a realisation.
"Well, during the dark season, after what happened with Mom, she ran away from home. I found her the same day near the barrier, but she was already passed out. I had asked her what happened for her to pass out like that, but she wouldn't tell. She seemed fine, so I didn't really think much of it. But now I am not so sure."
"For how long was she gone for?"
"About two hours."
"Within that time, she could have hit her head or something. As the only few occurrences of amnesia are after someone experienced shock to the head."
"Then why didn't she forget me then?"
"I can't say for sure, but her awakening ceremony may have had something to do with it. Up till now, the only people who have had amnesia were all already awakened. Plus, we don't really know what happens when a chief awakens. When the old village chief awakened, I wasn't even born. So this could be something that happens to all village chiefs."
"So will she ever get her memory back?"
When Azuri said this, both Myuri and Heena fell silent.
"The last person to have this illness was your grandmother, Gyuri. But... even to this day she has not recovered her lost memory."
Upon hearing that, Azuri looked distraught.
"But do not be too sad; although Zuri has lost her memories, she is still here. What was lost may not be regained, but as long as there is life, new memories can be forged."
"Thank you," Azuri said while wiping off her wet eyes.
Heena then turned to Alexander. "As for you, Chief Zuri, although what has happened to you is unfortunate, let me give you something to congratulate you on becoming this tribe's chief."
After saying that, the woman stood up and quickly went towards another room. She then came back not long later.
"Zuri, I want you to have this."
Heena presented a blue stone-like ring. Seeing the ring, Alexander found it a bit familiar. When he thought about it clearly, he remembered that Azuri seemed to have the same stone-like material as both her earrings and bracelets. Because they didn't really matter much to him, he did not pay much attention to these rings. But from the looks of it, they were some accessories. The stones should have a value similar to silver or gold back in his past life.
"Stand up," Heena said. Although Alexander felt uncomfortable standing up due to his 'upright' situation, he still complied. Although Alexander has not been in this world for long – in fact, he was barely in this world for an hour – he has noticed some things.
Standing still, he was just a tad bit shorter than Heena. Which gave him a top view of her full bust.
Heena then went closer to Alexander, which was a little bit too much considering his member was still standing parallel to the ground. But even when Alexander's covered penis touched her skirt, Heena did not react.
Alexander was a bit perplexed but still stood still. And something else more amazing happened.
The closed ring in Heena's hand suddenly lit up highly in a blue colour and then detached at one point. Making the ring into a curved object. She then put the object on Alexander's neck. After another flash of blue, she removed her hands from his neck. But the blue-stoned ring stood on his neck.
Alexander raised his hands and touched the ring, only to find out that it was perfectly sealed without any sign of its previous detachment.
