"I was in the next room and heard you talking in your sleep."
Ye Weining's face changed slightly, "What did I say?"
Li Tianyi glanced at her and shook his head, "I don't know, I didn't hear clearly."
Ye Weining visibly sighed in relief, "Don't tell my mom about tonight's incident."
"Okay," Li Tianyi promised, then chuckled, "You've always been a sensible child since young, never wanting to make your mom worry."
Ye Weining was taken aback, "How do you know?"
"When you were treating your ears at my home, every time you had the golden needle acupuncture, it hurt so much that you'd sweat all over, yet you'd grit your teeth and bear it without a sound. When your mom asked, you even said it didn't hurt. Watching you lie each time made me want to cry."
"I don't remember."
Ye Weining said softly. She couldn't remember things from when she was too young. Even why her ears went deaf, she didn't know.
"It's good to forget," Li Tianyi said, "I just regret that you even forgot me."
