Du Ruo: "..." At home, Ling Can had never taken out the trash; all the housework was done by her and the maid.
Before her eyes, a blurry figure of a man suddenly appeared, carrying several bags of garbage out the door: "Ruo Er, I'm going to take out the trash..."
His voice was clear and pleasant, strangely familiar.
Du Ruo blinked in a daze, trying hard to recall whose voice that was, and why he would call her "Ruo Er" so intimately.
A warm, large hand landed on her shoulder, startling her back to herself.
"Ruo Er, I'll take you shopping." Ling Can said gently.
Du Ruo blinked, looking at Ling Can, feeling as if her heart was shrouded in fog, utterly at a loss.
"Ruo Er, what's wrong with you?" Ling Can finally noticed that Du Ruo was acting strange.
Du Ruo hesitated for a moment, then still whispered, "I just had a hallucination. I seemed to see you going out to throw away the trash..."
Ling Can's expression changed drastically. "And then?"
