"Before my father, like all other demigods, was set upon his path, my grandfather Ikenga granted him this Journal," Zephyr said, his fingers tracing the ancient cover. "Within these pages lies the cornerstone upon which the Apeling Kingdom now stands. It contains a meticulously designed form of government, a blueprint my father followed to create the stability we enjoy today."
A heavy silence followed. None of the gathered leaders expressed surprise at this revelation. For years, they had watched the Apelings with a mixture of envy and curiosity, studying the unique efficiency of their rule and the way they managed to balance individual power with collective order. They had long suspected that the Apelings possessed a "secret" to governance than the rest of them.
"In this book," Zephyr continued, his voice resonating through the pocket dimension, "there is a page that speaks of a growth that eventually becomes a burden. A weight we have all, perhaps unknowingly, begun to carry."
