Kenpachi walked towards the defeated Mirror that was broken, but possible to salvage some information or some advanced technology that would help The Hero Association and Hero Works have more of a chance of defeating GOD. Kenpachi wasn't really gentle with Mirror's body as he dragged it because he really don't care about the condition of the body and the metal that Mirror is made of wouldn't even make a scratch. it's too durable for simple damage, even if the metal was weakened by Saitama's punch.
Kenpachi went through security as a machine scanned him and Mirror for hidden cameras from unknown people, security had find that one of Mirror's eyes was still recording as they punched the eye to break the camera. Kenpachi dragged Mirror's body through Hero Work's basements as he sees scientist testing experiments on mindless monster and machine ones as well.
However, Kenpachi goes to the leader of machine monster experiments, the leader's laboratory is a mess as it has paperwork everywhere, machine parts on the ground, and food wrapping overflow from the trashcan. Kenpachi cleans off a examining table to set down Mirror and calls the person that can discover some information or new machine parts that they can use against monster.
A door opened as an old man come out with some ramen as a quick snack before going back to work. Vegapunk was a relatively tall elderly man, having stood just under Kenpachi's height, with slender limbs and red cheeks. He had a noticeably elongated but neatly sliced head and had a shaft driven in to support a structure resembling the top of an apple core and its leaf. His forehead was remarkably wide, while his eyes were close to his potato nose. His tongue was incredibly long, reaching all the way to his groin, and was always sticking out of his mouth. He had a bald head on top but had spiky white hair on the sides, as well as a thick mustache. He wore a short white coat with SSG on the back, a pink shirt with red polka dots, purple pants, and purple DOM shoes.
Vegapunk sees Mirror as he quickly finished his ramen and ran to the body with stars in his eyes because this machine was more advanced than the usual robots from past months. " What a magnificent piece of work, the metal is very strong, powerful energy attacks, and with nanotechnology fixing the damage, this machine would basically be Dragon-Level Threat without a doubt."
"Doc, we need information of this machine in its memory bank or finding hint of who made it." Kenpachi has a emotionless expression as he is just following orders and isn't really interested in machine's functions or impressive build. Vegapunk quickly used a device to scan the body of Mirror, he sees all of the parts of Mirror in a blueprints.
" It's very similar to the robots that wanted to fight King, but instead it got Genos. I match some with robots of Machine Knight, it has some similar to his robots, but they are more advanced and improved from Metal Knight's current design." Vegapunk is looking through blueprint of Metal Knight's countless robots, but Vegapunk sees a pattern through its coding and parts.
" Mirror has an AI and that goes against Metal Knight control, he likes it when everything is under his control and doesn't have an emotions to get in the way of orders or a mission. This person may have worked with Metal Knight in the past and keep improving them in a different way that Metal Knight won't. Vegapunk is matching Metal Knight and Mirror's parts, they had similar parts, but different functions for different purposes.
Metal Knight's robots were more a jack of all trades, they can be use for information gathering, combat, and constructive. However, Mirror is a combat unit that only knows fighting and destruction to get its mission done as efficiently as possible.
Vegapunk goes through its memory back as they went as back in the past as possible, they heard that a voice is talking to Mirror, but it's very distorted and rough. They saw a man with glitches around his face, he was doing some finally adjustment for Mirror to be in prime shape for King. Vegapunk tried to fix the glitching from Mirror's memory bank, but Mirror's broken eyes light up.
" Self-destruct activate" Mirror blow up its head clean off to prevent its creator from being discover. Vegapunk was disappointed that the memory bank were destroyed, but the body still had some useful parts he can use. Kenpachi looked pissed at the body of Mirror as he was ready to swing his sword, but Vegapunk begged Kenpachi to not attack the body.
" Sir Kenpachi, don't do this action, we will lost some precious knowledge from this body and some advantage if you destory this body." Vegapunk is weakly grabbing Kenpachi's arm with the sword and Vegapunk is also pleading so hard that Vegapunk is crying his eyes out.
" Fine, geezer, what do you think we need to do now because we need that the guy behind is very secretive of his identity and he is very intelligent man that he can make something like Mirror.
" Don't call me GEEZER, you young people don't respect your elders. Anyway, I just need more of these machine so I can quickly save their memory banks before they decide to self-destruct them." Vegapunk goes to his desk to make a quick program that will secretly save the memory bank without machine's knowledge.
" Fine, I will tell Crocodile that we just need more machine monster's body to get information on this mastermind." Kenpachi will slowly walks to Crocodile's office, Kenpachi summarized Vegapunk's explain and Crocodile nods.
" It look like it's robot hunting season, I will give every member in Hero Work a message about this news." Crocodile quickly tips a message to all heroes about hunting machine monster. Kenpachi just leaves the room as he goes out to monster hunt some strong opponents to kill them brutality and savagely.
