It was slow going in the end, but it was certainly much faster than hiding behind barriers and making our way forward.
With the many lightning rods that I created, we were able to make our way deep into this taboo zone.
It certainly was much more efficient than using the barrier to make our way forward.
But in the end, it wasn't as if it was perfect.
After all, there were still lightning bolts that ignored the lightning rods from time to time. So even if we didn't have to use the barriers to block all of the lightning bolts that came down, we still had to use some to block the few lightning bolts that did make it through.
Still, this was much easier on the magicians.
A single lightning bolt was a completely different thing compared to a rain of lightning bolts.
It was just that as we were making our way through this place, we didn't really find anything.
