"It's actually turning on?" I was shocked to find the screen of the computer turning on in the end.
Even though this place clearly shouldn't have had any power with how it looked abandoned, it turned out that this wasn't the case.
I walked over to the light switch as well and it turned out that it wasn't just the computer alone that had power. It was the entire building that was receiving power from an unknown source.
I couldn't help thinking about the elevator from earlier when I saw this.
"If I had tried the elevator and there was no power at all, then it would have been embarrassing…"
With a shake of my head, I tossed that thought out and focused on the computer screen in front of me.
The familiar scene of my desktop appeared.
There weren't that many icons that were on the desktop since I was someone that didn't play many games to begin with. The only games that I did play were games that helped me relieve my 'stress', like the h-game that this world was based on.
