"There's more than usual?" I was a bit surprised by the loot that was dropped by the Roc.
After all, there was more than what would have dropped from a similar area boss.
Or at least none of the area bosses that I had encountered before had dropped this much.
But thinking about it, it didn't seem like it was just because I was in a further room that the amount of drop increased. After all, this was double the loot and it wasn't as if the Roc was that much stronger than the area bosses in the sea room.
So for it to drop double loot like this...
"Is it because I finished it off before it could go into its second phase?"
This kind of thing was common in games since it was harder to accomplish something like this. After all, no matter what boss it was, the second phase activation usually meant that the boss would heal up to a certain extent.
Not to mention that it was usually around half health that this second phase activated.
