When everyone heard this, they couldn't help looking confused since they had no idea what Max was referring to.
Though they knew what the dantian was, it wasn't as if they saw it the same way as Max did.
Which was why they couldn't understand what he meant when he referred to the dantian.
Max didn't answer right away as it looked like he was gathering his thoughts, but then he suddenly said, "It's simply because the dantian becomes essential to the cultivator once they gather it. It's not like mana techniques where one just uses the mana to bathe the body."
It didn't seem like most people understood this, but there were those that did.
These were the alchemist from the cultivation world and the researchers from the fantasy world.
Since they were in similar occupations, they could understand what Max was going for when he said this. But it still seemed like they had some issues with completely understanding what he meant.
