When I came out, I already knew how the elders would react.
But since I didn't show them anything, it wasn't as if they could say anything about me.
If they were to search me, then it really would have become an international incident.
The only thing that I showed them in the end was the hoe, but they had no reaction to it at all.
This was something that I had already tested previously with the stone shard, so I was already certain that they wouldn't be able to detect the immortal energy. Which was why I showed them the hoe to help back up my story.
From what I could see, it seemed like the immortal energy was just too advanced for them to sense.
Which was strange since Max was able to sense it even though these cultivators weren't able to.
Was that just because Max was special or was it something else about the immortal energy?
Regardless of what it was, it was safe to show them the hoe. It wasn't as if these prestigious cultivators were about to fight me over a simple hoe.
