While Kaneki was searching for the girls so he could bring them back to camp.

The girls were scheming something with regarding the Higanbana girls.
???: You heard us!
Yuuka: Hold on... So you're saying we should get ourselves hit on by other guys?
Natsuki: So Kaneki would get jealous and save us...
Their classmates were urging them to get hit on by other guys in the beach so Kaneki would come in and save them.
All 6: HELL NAH!
But the Higanbana girls were obviously completely against it considering how messed up it was.
Natsuki: You guys are telling us to deliberately make Kaneki jealous?! Why would we do that?!
Sachi: You're telling us to play with his feelings! No way we'll do something as stupid as that!
Yuuka: Seriously what made you guys think of that???
???: Eh- S-Sorry.
???: We just thought it would be a good chance for you girls to show off how cool Kaneki was.
Hearing their reason making such an insane suggestion, the Higanbana girls were in complete shock.
Natsuki & Chikao: Kaneki is already cool!
Shino: Yeah and why should we show him off? He's not a trophy you know?
Yuuka: Yeah. Plus don't you think he might misunderstand and attack?

Miku: Yeah! If he had hurt someone because of what you guys made us do, you're the ones to blame.

Miku: Geez and here i thought the biggest idiot was Kotori-Oneechan.
Kotori: Just so you girls know. I was against it.
Chikao: What about Azusa-san.
Azusa: Oi I'm not dumb enough to think about something like that.
Chikao: Wait what about the boys? They definitely heard your talk earlier right?
Kotori: Don't worry they said they won't tell Kaneki anything, so these girls are definitely safe for now.
Natsuki: Man I would feel bad for your future boyfriends if you think stuff like that.
Hearing such harsh words from Natsuki her classmates felt so bad.

???: Sigh~ We're sorry we won't suggest anything like that again.

Kotori: Well with that out of the way, let's all get the drinks. The boys and Kaneki-chan are definitely thirsty now.

And so with their scolding of their classmates done, the girls went to the nearby beach stalls to buy drinks.

After buying many bottles of soda from a beach stall, the girls all started heading back to their camp where the boys were at.

But to their surprise he was surrounded by a group of older women.

Why was Kaneki surrounded by a ton of women? Let's rewind to a few minutes back.
A few minutes earlier~

After calming himself after almost accidentally revealing Shino's, Yuuka's and Miku's identities. Kaneki searched for the girls.
Kaneki: Wait... I have no idea where I'm going.
But because the beach stall was relatively far and he didn't know the beach well and he was initially panicked earlier he accidentally gotten lost.
Kaneki: Where's the beach stall? Oh crap I should've brought Emi-kun or Itsuki with me maybe I should fly?
As he was contemplating whether he should take to the sky, he was approached by a group of older girls.
???: Hey aren't you that Demon Knight boy from the W.S.S.F two weeks ago?
Kaneki: Yes?
???: I knew it! You seem to be lost, is there any place you want to go?
Kaneki: Um... Yes actually, is there a beach stall nearby? I'm looking for my classmates.
???: I see, I see. Yup! There's one that way!

After he was told where the beach stall was by the group of girls, Kaneki happily thanked them before heading to the beach stall.

He was then suddenly stopped by one of the girls who grabbed him by the arm.

From then on they didn't allowed Kaneki to move a single inch and were hanging out with him the entire time.
Chikao: GEEZ! WHY IS HE HANGING OUT WITH OTHER GIRLS BESIDES US?!
Natsuki: YEAH WHAT THE HECK?!
Upon seeing that Kaneki was surrounded by such beautiful older girls and seeing said girls smiling around him, both Sachi and Chikao both got extremely jealous.
Sachi: LET'S GO GIVE HIM A PIECE OF OUR MIND!
Natsuki: Sachi wait!
Just when Sachi was about to confront Kaneki about it.
???: AHHHH! WE'RE SORRY!
Sachi: Huh?
The girls that surrounded Kaneki ran away from him screaming.
Natsuki: Told you. Seriously you and Chi-chan got jealous way to fast.
Sachi & Chikao: But!
Kotori: Don't forget you two, Kaneki-chan only has eyes for you six so any other girls won't matter to him.
Sachi & Chikao: Oh... Yeah that's right.
Yuuka: Haha! You two were so jealous!
Shino: Hehe. Your love for Kaneki is quite heavy.
Miku: Agreed. We know very well Kane-chan wouldn't like any other girls besides us.
Kaneki: Hey guys. What are you talking about?
All girls: Kaneki?!
Kaneki: Yo. C'mon let's go back to camp.
Kaneki had finally met up with them and immediately invited them back to camp.
After they got back the girls handed out the bottles of soft drinks to the boys and all sat down in the shade.
Natsuki: Hey Kaneki what was that about earlier?

Natsuki: You were surrounded by girls earlier.
When Natsuki suddenly asked Kaneki about what had happened earlier.
???: Oooh~ Kaneki is really popular.
???: Yeah it kinda looked like Higanbana-kun was getting hit on.
Sachi: Seriously! Just because you're popular now doesn't mean you should go hang around other girls!
Kaneki: Grrr... It was really annoying.

Kaneki had gotten irritated now that his classmates and friends were talking about the situation.

Kaneki: They were trying to tell me to "have fun" with them and when I refused they said they would allow me to feel them! WHAT IS THAT EVEN SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! Some of them even tried to hug me which is seriously wrong!!! Like what is going on in their minds?!?! And they continued to say weird stuff and what pissed me off the most. ONE OF THEM TOUCHED MY LEGS!
???: Oh my.
Emi: You had it rough.
Kaneki: Right?! So I told them to leave me alone and then pulled my Omega Blaster and aimed it at their heads and threatened them if they don't leave me alone there I'd shoot litheir heads with lightning.
Miku: Ohh~ So that's why they were running in fear.
Keiko: Wow Kaneki that's a bit too much.
Kaneki: Hey it's their fault for not letting me leave.
Chikao: So... Those girls were annoying you?
Kaneki: Yes! Haven't you been listening Chi-chan?
Chikao: I see, so? You want me to go deal with them?
Chikao wanted to give those girls a piece of her mind after hearing what they had done to Kaneki.
Kaneki: Please don't, besides I've already dealt with them. So it's already resolved.
But with Kaneki had already dealt with them, he didn't allow her to do anything.
Shino: I'm just happy you're okay Kaneki, but seriously you should've just ran away from there.
Kaneki: ... Yeah I guess you're right.
???: Wait Kaneki were you waiting for the to save you?
Kaneki: N-No I wasn't!!!
Yuuka: Ehh~ Are you sure? You had multiple ways to escape but you didn't.
Kaneki: I really wasn't!!! You know I can't lie much anymore!!!
Natsuki: Alright everyone please stop it, Kaneki really is telling the truth.
Everyone: Yeah yeah.
With that they stopped talking about what happened to Kaneki.
Kaneki: Well then after we're done drinking, you all wanna do a competition or something?
Natsuki: That sounds fun, I know! Let's do a sandcastle building competition.
???: That's a great idea!
Yuuka: I'm in!
Miku: Hehe~ This is going to be fun.
And so it was decided that the next activity everyone would do is a sand castle building competition.
4 hours later~
After a while Class 1-C had finished their sand castle building competition with the winner being Yuuka.
With the competition over, Kaneki and his class spent rest of their remaining time in the beach swimming and doing other things before eventually their time was up.
After they had cleaned their camp up, they then cleaned themselves at a nearby bathroom with showers, and entered KaneLiner once they were finished.
A few minutes later~
Kaneki: Alright we're heading home.
With everyone finish packing their bags and putting them away, Kaneki had started KaneLiner up and started heading to Shimotsuki.

Kaneki: Hey guys we're- Oh. Everyone is asleep.
As he entered the passenger cart, he saw that everyone had fallen asleep.
Everyone: Zzzz~
Kaneki: Hehe~ everyone must've been exhausted huh?
Seeing that everyone was sleeping peacefully, Kaneki quietly walked to the Higanbana girls seats and stood in front of them.

Kaneki couldn't help but admire how cute the Higanbana girls were as they were sleeping beside each other peacefully.

Natsuki had suddenly woke up and saw Kaneki standing in front of her.

Kaneki then sat beside Natsuki and though they were a bit silent, Kaneki eventually started a conversation.
Kaneki: So? How was your first trip to the beach with friends?
Natsuki: It was fun! I've really enjoyed our time in the beach. I can't wait for the next time we go.
Kaneki: Maybe next time... We'd be dating.
Natsuki: Hehe~ C'mon Kaneki. You really do love us.
Kaneki: Of course. Even though I just discovered my feelings for you, Miku, Shino, Yuuka, Sachi and Chi-chan I really do love you all a lot.
Natsuki: I'm happy to hear that, although you're still not ready.
Kaneki: Yeah... And I think I could say the same for Shino, Yuuka and Miku.
Natsuki's eyes widened after Kaneki said that, she grown a bit curious.
Natsuki: What are you talking about?
Kaneki: Well you see Shino, Yuuka and Miku are-
Just then before Kaneki could finish his sentence, he realized he was about to reveal their identities again.
Kaneki's thoughts*

Before he could tell her their real identities, he decided to tell other truths to cover the one he was about to say.
Natsuki: Kaneki?
Kaneki: Sorry. I was imagining you naked just now.
Natsuki: Eh?!
Kaneki: Be careful you might wake everyone up.
Natsuki: Geez Kaneki... I'm not even in my bikini anymore...
Kaneki: Sorry couldn't help it, I had to keep myself calm. But I guess I can stop doing it now.
Natsuki: Geez. Anyways what were you going to say earlier?
Kaneki: Oh yeah Shino, and Yuuka... Well it's just a feeling.
Natsuki: Really?
Kaneki: Yeah. But Miku in the other hand well... It's because we're siblings.
Natsuki: Step-siblings.
Kaneki: Still. We were family for most of our lives, me loving her and her loving me in the same way Itsuki and Keiko loves each other will probably be very awkward for both of us.
Natsuki: Hmm~ That's right. But you two can definitely overcome it.
Kaneki: Yeah. I just hope when I'm ready, they are as well.

Kaneki was very pleased with how it turned out. With that out of the way, their conversation continued on.
Natsuki: Speaking of which, do you think Sachi and Chi-chan are ready?
Kaneki: Yup. I'm pretty sure Sachi was in love with me since we were kids and Chi-chan loved me ever since I saved her.
Natsuki: Hehe~ I just hope you're ready for our love, we'll definitely drown you in it.
Kaneki: I'll ready myself for when that happens then.
Natsuki: You better drown us in your love as well okay?
Kaneki: I'll try my best!
Natsuki: Good! On another topic, how's your model kit figures going? Any progress?
Kaneki: Yeah, wanna see? They're in the cab.
Natsuki: Sure let's go.
Kaneki: Alright be quiet though.
Natsuki: Okay!
Both Natsuki and Kaneki got up from their seats and headed to the cab.

Natsuki then went into the cab, but before entering Kaneki glanced back towards the other Higanbana girls.

It was due to him growing three small tentacles from his back before cutting the off but he still controlled them.

He then latched those tentacles to Shino, Yuuka and Miku.

With that done, Kaneki joined Natsuki in the cab where she looked and even helped Kaneki assemble his model kit figures and marking the end of the beach trip.
