Another week passed, with the same routine. Eleanor would wake, bathe, undergo Misha's inspections, walk in the garden, take lessons with Father Antone, followed by dinner with Michael, and end the day in bed with Michael and Lucas doing her marital duties. While a weird routine for her, Eleanor was starting to almost feel comfortable with it.
Finally, during a lesson with Father Antone, he stated with a broad grin on his face, "The Appearance Ritual will take place two days from now."
Eleanor felt a strange energy in the room when he said those words. This almost feels like the energy from the night of our 'wedding', could it be it is coming from the same place?
"Tomorrow you shall spend most of your day being readied by me and Misha. There will be no need for you to leave your private quarters."
Eleanor blanched at those words, Father Antone is going to be in our chambers? Will either Michael or Lucas be present? What does this 'being readied' entail?
