Also, this world can be considered an AU. I tried to add it to the tag but I couldn't find it so I have just mentioned it in the synopsis.

Walking through the market and looking at the hustle and bustle of the locals Shizu's mind calmed down a little. The city being what it is there weren't many people but all the people living here knew each other so even outside the environment was quite homely.
"Shizu you always wear the same type of clothes why don't we buy a different one for you?" Silica asked as she pointed at a clothing store.
"Do I really need it?" Shizu asked as she looked at her clothes. She didn't see any problem with it, it was comfortable, nice looking, and didn't hinder her when fighting.
"Jeez if you behave like that you will never get a boyfriend." Silica casually said.
"A boyfriend..." Shizu muttered and she thought of someone and as she did so her face turned a little red.
Silica having a keen eye, saw this and a star appeared in her eyes. And like an Asian mother who found some sweet gossip she held Shizu's shoulder and asked.
"Ah, what do we have here? Perhaps you have someone you aren't telling your friend about."
"Ahh, It's nothing," Shizu replied like a child who was caught stealing and backed away. But who was Silica an Alchemist and stubbornness was in their blood. So like a hunter who has found its prey she didn't stop.
"How can you be so cruel Shizu not even telling your friend about such a matter," Silica said while shedding some crocodile tears. The people in the market near them noticed the commotion but didn't speak anything and started to act like they hadn't heard anything.
But if you look at their long ears you can see them twitching waiting for any juicy news. After all, most of the shopkeepers here are those who lived here for more than hundreds of years so almost all of them knew Shizu.
So having such a revalidation how can they not be curious and signaled the people who didn't know Shizu to act. The people quickly mobilized after all this can be considered as some form of entertainment from their daily lives.
Silica also gave a signal to the people and got a nod in return. A person left from there and before anybody could even notice people started to cross the road leading out of the market in large numbers.
And just like that a barricade was created which Shizu had no chance of escaping. But alas Shizu didn't know it so she couldn't even lament her faith.
"As I said before it is not like that," Shizu said again.
"So you are telling me that you don't have a boyfriend but still reacted like that," Silica asked while staring into Shizu's eyes trying to intimidate her, which seemed to have worked wonderfully.
"Ah...Yes, I don't... we aren't in a relationship." Shizu blurted out due to the pressure and immediately regretted it as she could see the smile on Silica's face.
"Ohoho, so who is the he in this 'we' " Silica asked as she gave Shizu an evil smirk.
'All according to plan. Kekekeke' Silica thought.
"Um....A.....It.'s........" Shizu wasn't able to come up with a reply.
"Now that we are done with this banter let's hear the details," Silica demanded as she looked at the suturing Shizu.
Seeing that she had lost and there was no way out Shizu just gave a sigh and gave up on this fight.
"Well..."
Shizu then started to narrate the story of her little crush and all the needed things pertaining to it. Silica silently listened to it without disturbing her and even the market had gotten silent.
"So you are basically telling me that you are sure because of his age," Silica asked after Shizu finished her story.
"...Y-Ye-s" Shizu replied while lowering her head.
"So tell me what does he look like and behave," Silica asked again.
"Umm, He looks like a twenty-year-old and behaves like a... Hmmm, Childish but mature person." Shizu replied truthfully.
"So you are telling me that he looks and behaves like a mature person and you still have confessed to him that you love him. Are you an idiot?" Silica asked.
"But his age."
"Ahh, Shizu did you forget the type of world we are living in? Even the weakest of humans has a life span of 120 years not to mention someone like you and him who can live for five to six centuries."
"At such a timescale do you really think age will matter? You know what I have seen some 400-year-old single elf marry a 200-year-old. And what is your age difference not even a century."
Silica her work and became silent letting Shizu digest that information. All the people who were listening to it also nodded their heads.
Shizu wasn't able to give a reply as she knew that although somewhat unnatural for humans she wasn't wrong.
"And girl what will happen if he finds someone he likes and they get together," Silica asked again.
As Silica asked that question Shiu felt a little pang in her heart as she imagined that situation.
"Ah.... Then I will be happy for them." Shizu replied but Silica could see some sadness in her eyes.
"Sigh, you are way too nice Shizu. You know in this type of situation you should be assertive and bold." Silica said as she gave Shizu a gentle hug.
Shizu just remained silent there and didn't say anything. She just let the words of Silica sink into her mind.
The people also continued on their business as they felt like the situation had settled down.
"I "
But just as she was about to give a reply she felt something trying to erupt out of her. She knew what it was and tried to hold it back but due to the rollercoaster of emotions she had been through for a while she wasn't able to suppress it.
Ifrit had been silent for a while looking for a perfect opportunity and it had found it.
"Run.." Shizu said as she pushed away Silica who was still hugging her.
As she pushed her away she held her head trying to keep control of her body but it ended in failure. Her eyes turned red and a fire started to surround her, she started to float.
"SHIZU!! are you alright?" Silica said as she rushed toward Shizu.
"Ru..."
Shizu wasn't even able to complete her word as the fire spirit took over her body, she could see everything that was happening but couldn't interfere.
"ARRRRRRRRRR" Shizu or more precisely the fire spirit roared, scaring all the people in the surroundings.
Silica still shocked at her friend's transformation wasn't able to run. Ifrit looking at the woman in front of it charged a fire ball and threw it at her trying to end a bug.
Silica's instinct screamed at her and she tried to dodge and was somewhat successful as only her hand was hit.
"AGGG" She screamed as she tried to put out the fire.
Ifrit seeing that the bug survived charged another attack trying to completely end her. Silica seeing such a strong attack felt her death coming and looked at the possessed Shizu with fear in her face.
Shizu seeing her friend's face and condition remembered a certain event about the past. Feeling that she may lose another friend of hers she collected all her willpower and tried to suppress ifrit.
Just as Ifrit was able to finish off Silica, Shizu won and took back control from Ifrit. The attack was dispelled and she regained her control.
But what came to her view was the look of fear and horror on her friend's face as she looked at her while holding her burned hand.
Seeing this various negative emotions started to swirl inside of Shizu's mind. She wasn't able to keep any rational thought and a certain thought came to her mind.
'Is it better if I don't exist.'
