"To tell the truth, I didn't heard anything about a {Goblin} using a bow, even back at my world, so this is really my first seeing one but, I was completely expecting something else, especially when it has a blue color on it"

Sighing to my words, Lucrane then raised her left hand up and offered at me. Staring at it confused, I then looked at her and asked

Smiling as we exchange some words at each other, I then hold it her hand.

Lucrane puzzledly asked as after I hold her hand, I then stared at her for quite some time, though I know it's rude, I was just waiting for her to say 'D-don't think this is some kind of thing okay! Cuz this isn't!' and I will reply with 'Ahem! O-okay' while stupidly blushing like a teenager in heat

The two of us then looked at our front, as a sudden loud yell just then came. Looking at the two groups of monsters that was on stalemate, they suddenly were on the aggregated mode, as if something was touched to their pride and ego. I then tiltled my head to the back of my right, and whisperingly asked Lucrane
"So how are you going to take that monster out then?"
She then tapped my shoulder and stated with confidence
"I will finished that job so don't worry, whereas for you, observe and wait. Be patiently careful when will you decide to take action. Strike when you find opportunity, and don't let any chances slip but"
She then stared at me with seriousness burning deep in her eyes
"Don't you dare be stupid and act like a moron, you hear? Don't rush to act, and don't be afraid to act"
I then nodded to her words. After that, she then looked once more to the front, before she silently moved back and vanished. Knowing that she is capable enough on her end, I just need to think about my situation, and nothing else.

After a few moment as they exchanged growls and loud yells, the {Black Wolves} then started moving. They first devided themselves into 3 groups: the left, the right, and the center. The left group that was composed with 4 {Wolves}, slowly went towards the {Goblins'} right wing, followed by the right group that is composed with 5 {Wolves}, at the {Goblins'} left wing. The center group of the {Black Wolves} then showed their fangs and growled as their sharp claws, clawed the ground with their razor edge, as they stared at their enemy, installing fear to them.
The {Goblins} fully knowing that they are about to be cornered and outnumbered, took their stance, and who among them that could fight those beast head on, went upfront, while the others will support those who are at the front, from behind. Slowly, the {Goblins} then went to their designated formation, with each role they played as they took their ground.

Silent breeze then passed tbe battle ground, as the two groups were back at their staring game, patiently waiting for their enemy, carefully preparing as they grip their swords, and hold their ground. The {Wolves} keep snapping their sharp jaws in front of the {Goblins}, as if they were trying to bite something, while the {Goblins} just steadily took their stance, and didn't took those taunts. Then
Tonk!
Arhhhhhh!
One of the {Black Wolves} then directly jumped at one of the {Goblins}, as it opened its wide jaw, and outstretched its legs with its sharp claws, startling the {Goblins} on their wake

The battle then started, as out of nowhere, a small piece of rock was suddenly thrown at one of the {Wolves}, at the {Goblins'} right wing, which ignited the fight. The small rock came from at the back of the {Goblins}, between those two medium sized trees.
As the fight started, the startled {Goblins} weren't able to swiftly defend itself, as one of the {Wolves} then bit one of their comrades - [Bite] - causing their formation to break. The {Black Wolves} at the left wing then joined the fray, as they then attacked the {Goblins}, not wasting the opportunity to whoever gave at them, as the {Goblins} was at their confused state.
One of the {Wolves} then bit one of the {Goblins} upfront with its sharp teeth, causing the {Goblin} to groan in pain. One of the {Goblins} comrades then was about to help it, but soon was stopped by one of the {Wolves}, that was about to munched its neck.
The {Goblin} then took a step back, but was a bit to late on doing so, as the sharp teeth of the {Wolf} was able to pierced through its skin.
Kraaaa!!
The {Goblin} then started bleeding and moaned in pain. The {Wolf} that buried its fangs to the {Goblins} shoulders, then brought the {Goblin} down the ground, which caused the monster to yell. It then continued ravishing the poor fellow, until it died without even fighting back.
The front also were already taken a heavy toll, as the leader of the [Goblin Pack] was already taken down first by 3 {Black Wolves}, ganking up together, killing the only level 37 among them.
At the left wing of the {Goblins}, 3 of their comrades were already taken down, as they received fierce claw slashes at their body, and ferocious bites from their legs and shoulders. One of the {Goblins} was even assaulted by 2 {Wolves}, making the monster to be defeated in a seconds.
Having their both right and left wing taken over the {Wolves}, the {Goblins} then backed down, leaving them with 5 remaining ones, from the original 11 of the [Goblin Pack]. Seeing that their leader was taken down, and their formation got broken, the {Goblins} then became anxious and was already at the {Wolves} mercy, until

One of the {Wolves} then was shot at its neck by a straight arrow, coming from the 2 trees in front of them. The said {Black Wolf} was dazzlingly swaying, making the other {Wolves} worried and puzzled.

The {Black Wolf} then stumbled down with its heavy eyelids closed, and didn't moved as it laid down the ground. Seeing that, the other {Black Wolves} then stared at the remaining {Goblins} with anger. But rather than ravaging them, the {Wolves} became a bit cautious, as they circled around the remaining 5 {Goblins}.
Though one of the {Wolves} was taken down, the remaining 5 {Goblins} was still reluctant to attack, as their are still 17 furious level 41 {Black Wolves}, that could easily ravish them.

Another arrow was again shot at the [Wolf Pack], striking down one of the {Black Wolves} upfront. Staggering as it went down, the other {Wolves} became anxious, but their pride didn't yet fallen down, as they still hold their ground, and intimidated the leftover {Golbins}, until

Another one of their comrades again fell down the ground, and motionlessly laying there. If at first the {Wolves} was a bit reluctant to attack them, due to being cautious to whoever the unknown enemy is, they then changed their minds and directly attacked the remaining ones. The {Goblins} realizing that the {Wolves} wasn't playing anymore, run. Dashing forward, each of the {Goblins} then slid down beneath the {Black Wolves}, while the others just went to their luck, and tried to avoid all the {Wolves} claws and fangs. Running with their tail behind their back, the {Goblins} just keep dashing forward and speeding up, trying to at least get away from the beast that was chasing them.

Annoyed as the each of its comrades fell as they rushed towards the remaining {Goblins}, the leader of the pack then ordered in an anger tone, towards its pack to split up as they chased their prey. But before they could even started splitting up, each of the {Wolves} then was shot by the unknown hunter, causing the pack to become anxious and hesitant, but seeing that they are already to far to back away, they still continued chasing their remaining prey.
Seconds pass by till minutes, as I watched from the side line, the remaining {Wolves} of the pack was now being outnumbered by the surviving 5 {Goblins}, as its comrades was now laying down the ground, unmoving. Leaving alone as it stood up against the 5 {Goblins}, the leader of the pack didn't back down, as it faced the enemy they were chasing. Standing with unyielding fierce, the lone {Wolf} bare its fangs and revealed its sharp claws, ready to take down either 1 or 2 of those {Goblins} down with him
The {Goblins} who saw this as an opportunity as the table suddenly turn towards them, started encircling the lone {Wolf}. Gripping their weapons tightly on their hands, as they bare their grudge towards the enemy that took them down, one by one, and played like a toy.

Without wasting anymore time, 2 of the {Goblins} that was flanking the surviving {Black Wolf} at its back, then rushed forward, followed by the 2 at the {Wolf's} both side. Not further hesitating to whom the lone {Wolf} should attack first, it then jumped forward as it spreads its front legs, and its wide maw open. With ferocity burning in its eyes, the surviving leader of the [Wolf Pack] didn't feared death, as it directly dashed and leaped forward to the {Goblin} that was already taking its stance, not making the same mistake of its comrades, then-

Bewildered, the {Goblins} were gazing at the last remaining {Wolf}, as it suddenly stumbled down, and was laying on the ground motionless. Curious, 3 of the {Goblins} then cautiously went towards the {Wolf}, and examined it.

One of the {Goblins} upfront then called its other comrades, as it pointed to the cause of how the said ravenous beast was taken down. A single shot of arrow was enough to put the beast on its sleep, as a the said arrow directly hit the {Wolf} between its neck and shoulder.

Celebrating for their miraculous victory, the {Goblins} then started yelling as they raised their weapons up. One of the {Goblins} then stump its right foot towards the leader of the [Wolf Pack], and roared

But their celebration didn't last long enough, as one of their comrades was now been targeted and shot, causing it to fell down. Another one then came down, which made the remaining 3 didn't further thought anything, and just run. Aimlessly running uncoordinatingly and scared, the {Goblins} just run off away from the battlefield, but

They were still been took down without missing a single shot, and wasting any arrow. But what seem peculiar was, they were only hit at the non-vital parts of their body, from their shoulders, tendons on their legs, and their either left side or right side of that back of their stomach, but they were all dead? Using my [Keen Eyesight], I then looked at the corpse of the {Goblins} that was taken down. Looking at them, I then realized that they weren't dead, but just paralyzed
".... Paralyzed?"
Looking back as I trying to remember the skills that I saw back at that rare {Goblins} [Status Screen], remembering that the only debuff skill's effect it has was the [Poison Strike] only, and nothing more. I then stared back at the {Black Wolves} and saw the similar thing that happened at the {Goblins}, they were merely immobilized and weren't killed.

Suprised as out of nowhere, without any warning, an arrow was then shot just in front of me, just a half meter away from me, and pierced to the ground

After killing all the {Goblins}, all 5 of them, as the 6th one was on Lucrane's side, and the remaining 5 were already killed by the {Wolves} themselves, so I then went towards the {Black Wolves} group. Walking towards them, I then saw Lucrane coming over my side with that rare {Goblin} behind her, following her like a servant or a bodyguard, not waiting for her to come, I then walked forward to the other monsters.

"I was just thinking if we could use them to hunt for us, and also for protection"

"We could also use them as our surveillance when venturing this woods, don't you think? They have strong senses compared to humans, right? So why not use them?"

Lucrane then took 10 left ears, and then 10 still intacted hearts of the {Goblins}, while 72 canine teeth, 18 hearts, and 216 claws from the {Black Wolves}. After she stored them in her [Storage Ring], we then continued venturing the woods.
She sent the {Goblin} first to scout, to sight any monsters in our way. If it saw any, Lucrane gave it an order to kill it if could, just simply repel them if it something it reluctant to dispose, or inform us if it's something it can't win, and might obstruct our path.
"Does the Exp gain will still be the same for the monsters too when they got tame?"
"No, it will be half. The Exp gain we will obtain will still be the same, the share amount won't change between the two of us, even if we have that {Goblin} with us, but for it, it will receive halves of the amount of Exp we obtain"
After that short talk, we then continued on.

Further as we moved forward, we then came across a small valley within a thick dark withered woods. Dead trees that formed an eerie likeness of danger, and carving of ominous atmosphere. The branches of those trees spoke of dread and passing, while its trunk utter decay and disease. And every time we stride forward, every time we close the distance of those deteriorating woods, a shivering feeling of chill then run down towards my spine, caressing me with dreadful touch.

She then walked forward as we are just a meter or so away from a giant dead tree, that formed a grieving woman that was praying, and was crying. Though the art was stunning, and beautifully carved, but seeing how remarkably realistic it was, it only brought shivers on me. She then spoke as she touched that creepy tree

Perplexed to her words, I was completely unable to process what she just told me about. She then looked at me and stated in a painful voice

Then this one just outshines that one, in terms of ruin and eerieness. Coated in a mixture of dark shade green, and dark shade of brown. Its roof was uneven as it was truly tattered, with its walls completely holed and unmatchably broken. It had two pillars, or once was, outside of the house, supporting its entrance. It has a well just a bit further to its left bottom. The said well is unclean, and unattended as its walls was destroyed, and only the shed pillars - 3 - that is covering it was left.
A small shed like a storage room or building could be seen at the right, with the same situation as the house itself. Both the 3 structures were covered in moss, ferns, and weeds.

I then saw a pair of 6 eyes, looking below me at the darkness. Feeling a shiver on me, Lucrane then spoked
"Don't be wary of it, its just here to guard this house and nothing more. If it finds that you aren't a threat, it won't touch you, so relax"
She then looked at me and stated
"And also those kids you saw won't be coming back, so chill"
"That is easy for you to say"
She then smiled back, which only add up my concern about my life, and curious about hers. Walking further, we then took another 3 turns to the left, which truly puzzled me of how big this place was
"... It's bigger inside than outside ha"
"[Field Expansion] is a skill used to manipulate the area to your liking, making it more spacious and wider than what it is seems outside, take those rings for example"
"I see"
Truly amazed on how much this place came to be, I keep gazing at the surrounding area, though it was truly creepy, and horrifying experience, but still wonderful on its own way.
After walking a bit more
"We are here"
We then arrived to our destination. The place that Lucrane took us was a simple room, if it was to be begin with. The room, unlike the other places in this house wasn't ruined, destroyed, nor damage. The wooden door it has wasn't even touched by time, as it was still intact, and has it form and design still untouched.
We were standing in front of it, awkwardly for some reason. As silence deluge us, I then asked lucrane
"... Ahem, aren't we going to go in?"
A moment of quietness, Lucrane then spoke
"No, I will go alone"
"What?"
Without looking at my stupid surprised expression, she then sighed and walked towards that door
"For this time only, I will go in by myself, so stay here"
"... Got it"
Noticing the distress, and anxiousness she was wearing, I didn't further complained, and let her do what she wanted to do. She then nodded and went in, which completely leaves me here alone inside this ominous place.
Steeling my resolve, I then summoned my [Mythril Knight Sword], and then lean my back to the door, and sat down as I crossed my legs, and vigilantly keep my guard up.
Few minutes came or so, Lucrane still wasn't yet out from the room she went in, so a bit bored as I could only see dark colored theme in this house, I just closed my eyes
"For a man, you are quite a scaredy cat"
"!?!"
Suddenly hearing a child's voice, I then hurriedly opened my eyes and grip my sword
"[Quick Reflexes]"
And swung it, until
"But you do have such great initiative, though your reflexes is still quite lacking"
"Gahhh"
I groaned as her small, fragile hands that was like a doll, halted my sword before I could even swing it.
That child then looked at me for quite some time, with its hollowed eyes before she spoke
".... Is she your companion?"
I didn't answer her question, as I just stared at her while my hearts thump with great beat.
"!!!"
"... That woman I mean, are you her companion? Is she?"
As she asked that, she came closer at me in a blink of an eye, which truly shocked me. She closed the distance between us, to the point that her face was just a centimeters away from mine. She then placed her right hand at my chest, which weigh like a dozens of a bicycle sized metal, that pins me down.
Looking below me, I then saw those creepy children again, as they smiled at me while holding both of my arms and legs - which are still crossed.
Gulp
"Y-yes, she was"
She then tilted her head to the right, then to the left, and stood her body up and stared at me
"... It's either a bad taste, or just an impulse decision"
"....?"
She then gazed me back again at a closed distance, and spoke
"But either way, you get 3 points out of 100 from me, so keep practicing okay"
Muah
"!!?"
And kissed me at my forehead, and vanished as she smiled, and waved her hand
"Chow, chow, oh [Foreign Lost Soul]"
"Bye bye mister~"
"See ya~"
Staring at them nervously as they vanished, I then slowly slide down the door, and laid at the cold, and tattered floor
"..... What the f-*thuck* kuhhhhh!"
"Woah! What happened!?"
Lucrane stated, as she out of nowhere just slammed the door at my head. Holding it with my hand, as the door hits me with a great smack, I then saw her coming out with a baffled look
"What the hell are you doing there anyway?"
Staring at her for quite some time, I then spoke in anxious and pleading voice
"Can we go now?"

*What Vince did is one of the superstition here in the Philippines, it's where you will turn your clothes - man or woman - inside out when you're gotten lost, to make sure to reverse the spell, or whatever trick this being we called 'encanto' did to you, especially if the one who did is a 'tikbalang' (a horse like man) or 'kapre' (a giant, dark guy that lives in a mango tree or any huge or tall trees with a giant tabacoo)
I won't be too much invested in horror thrill unlike my Dark-Ages
