Chapter 12 - The hyuga clan's grand bow

"Wow! Incredible! That's a real old fox!"

Without a doubt, the Hyuga Clan, as a rising star, was not cheap or stingy.

This noise amazed Naruto.

Following the style of the Uchiha Clan, if a shinobi from the Hidden Cloud dared to start a war, they would definitely fight.

Surrender? Peace?

No way!

Even though some had turned away from Madara Uchiha and stayed in Konoha, it didn't mean their bloodthirst was gone.

Otherwise, they wouldn't think about rebellion all day to restore the Uchiha Clan's lost glory.

If Hiruzen Sarutobi wanted the Uchiha Clan to give up the leadership of Fugaku for Konoha's peace,

then probably, except for Itachi, even Shisui wouldn't agree.

They desperately wanted war, and the Uchiha Clan would lead it to earn battle merits and regain power in Konoha.

After the Nine-Tails' night, the Uchiha even lost their family graves and were forced to move.

It was a shame for the proud Uchiha, so they thought about coups constantly.

In past lives, people said the Hyuga and Uchiha Clans didn't get along.

Now it seemed that was only after the Hyuga sided with the Hokage.

Before a wealthy clan, there were only long-term interests, no personal grudges.

Maintaining order in the village was the job of the Uchiha in Konoha's garrison, and Fugaku killing a Cloud messenger wasn't even a problem for Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Naruto followed Hinata into the Hyuga house.

Hiashi and Hizashi were already waiting in the living room.

Standing next to them was Hyuga Nagi, who looked curiously.

Several people sat on the tatami mats.

Hiashi waved off his subordinates.

He seriously looked at Naruto, glanced at his brother, and bowed respectfully together.

"Thank you, Naruto-kun, for the reminder," he said. "If you ever need anything in the future, the Hyuga Clan will help as much as we can."

Naruto squinted, seeing this.

He still underestimated the relationship between these two brothers.

He thought Hiashi could make a good impression and help him with money problems.

Unexpectedly, they gave such a huge gift to children not even four years old.

Think about it—after the Chunin Exams, Hiashi also bowed to Neji, his branch family nephew.

Seeing this, Naruto waved his hand and pretended to be confused and silly:

"What are you doing? I didn't do anything."

Hiashi raised his head, looked at Naruto—who really looked like a four-year-old—and was slightly puzzled too.

Could it really be a coincidence?

No. When Naruto arrived, the Cloud shinobi mission hadn't come yet.

Thinking about Naruto, Hiashi realized:

How could a child know so many secret things that the Fourth Hokage must have arranged for him?

To prevent seeing what the Third Hokage did, Naruto had a protector, probably in the ANBU!

As the clan leader, he had to think why someone reminded him to be careful with the mission; even a Jonin wouldn't want to gain anything from the clan's land.

So there was only one possibility: the danger came from inside! That's why Hiashi hired Konoha guards to protect Hinata carefully.

Unexpectedly, the Cloud shinobi mission dared to come and kidnap his daughter!

What Hiashi didn't expect was that the mission was actually Hiruzen Sarutobi!

He asked the clan to hand over his younger brother in exchange for Konoha's peace!

This made Hiashi furious instantly, if not for his careful, trusting nature.

Then, to prevent the Byakugan from leaking, his twin would definitely be saved by the cursed elders of the clan.

He felt fear thinking about it, because the "Caged Bird" felt guilty toward his brother, and if he died, that guilt would last his whole life.

So when the Cloud shinobi mission ended, he immediately called Naruto to thank him.

At this stage, seeing that Naruto seemed unaware, Hiashi assumed the people behind him had done everything.

After all, who could believe a four-year-old knew so much?

So Hiashi kindly told Naruto:

"You don't need to know the details. You can come eat here anytime. If you ever need anything in the future, and you don't have enough money, I'll ask Hinata to give it to you. Don't worry about expenses—this is our clan's gratitude."

When Naruto heard this, a spark lit in his eyes.

The medicine he needed for training had finally arrived!
