"And why would you save the Uchiha clan from Konoha?"
He knew very well… Danzo's Root would never let the Uchiha survive.
Naruto looked at him calmly.
"First… even if I don't answer that, you already know the truth in your heart, right?"
"You've judged Uchiha Itachi many times, haven't you?"
"This mission to wipe out the Uchiha needs someone to take the blame… and your son is perfect for that."

Fugaku froze.

Naruto stood up and walked toward the courtyard.

"Konoha's patience is running out."
"I suggest you start the coup directly against Hiruzen… and replace him."
Naruto left with a faint smile.
Fugaku stood there, touching his eyes, his face dark.
He had awakened the same power as his ancestors…
yet he still couldn't save the Uchiha clan.

At that moment, a young Uchiha genin passed by and bumped into Naruto.
A scroll slipped slightly from his hand.
Naruto quietly took the information and stored it in his ninja pouch.
Kakashi glanced toward the compound…
remembering Obito and Rin.
Then he felt it—
the Uchiha clan was like a stretched string…
ready to snap at any moment.
After returning home, Naruto opened the copied information.
He raised an eyebrow.
"Of course… it's Uchiha Obito."
According to the information,
Akatsuki needed ten members to seal the Tailed Beasts.
This matched the intelligence he had gathered earlier.

Naruto casually put the scroll away and opened the door.
Hiruzen Sarutobi stood there, holding his pipe.
"Oh? You went out?"
Naruto shrugged.
"Don't you go out too?"
Hiruzen wiped sweat from his forehead.
"What were you doing with the Uchiha?"
Naruto smiled lightly.
"I went to ask Fugaku if he had a spare Sharingan."
"I still have one eye left… I want to become a Copy Ninja like Kakashi."
Hiruzen froze.
Cold sweat appeared on his back.
Ask the Uchiha… for a Sharingan?!
Even Kakashi keeping his Sharingan had required huge effort back then.
And that was during wartime.
If not for the burden of the Sharingan on non-Uchiha…
the clan would never have allowed it.
Hiruzen looked serious.
"I advise you… stay away from the Uchiha for now."
"There are signs of unusual activity in their area—"

A Uchiha shinobi suddenly appeared.
He looked coldly at Hiruzen…
then handed Naruto a container.
Inside…
a pair of Sharingan floated in special solution.
"This is what the captain asked me to give you."
Hiruzen froze completely.
