The clock ticked.

One final second—And then—

Silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

The wager had ended.

Ilona's form trembled on the ground, unstable, flickering between shadow and shape.

Ghost Rider stood over her, flames roaring steadily.

No rush. No mercy.

Just inevitability. Then he spoke.

"THE TIME IS OVER."

Ilona tried to rise—Failed.

Her strength had been torn apart during the forced extraction.

Her voice came out strained.

"…I…"

The contract tightened around her existence.

Unbreakable. Ancient. Binding.

Ghost Rider's burning gaze locked onto her.

"HOLD YOUR WORD."

The command struck like judgment itself.

Ilona let out a low, irritated grunt.

-Tch!

Not anger. Not rebellion.

Resignation.

She knew. She had lost.

The rules she clung to for centuries—Now bound her.

"...."

Her form began to dissolve.

Breaking apart into streams of black smoke.

Her voice echoed faintly as she faded.

"…the deck… is yours…"

The smoke coiled—Compressed—Then shot toward the tarot box.

The lid snapped shut on its own.

-Thud.

The room stilled. The curse had submitted.

The flames around Ghost Rider began to dim.

Hellfire receded.

Bone turned back to flesh.

Dark smoke appeared and vanished.

Jojo stood there once again.

Calm. Human. Unshaken.

He walked forward.

Picked up the tarot box. Held it for a moment.

"...."

Feeling the difference.

No longer wild. No longer uncontrolled.

Now—Bound.

Behind him, Grant lay on the floor, unconscious.

Breathing steady. Alive. But broken from the strain.

Inadu stepped forward quietly.

She raised her hand.

A soft spell flowed through the room.

Grant's body relaxed further.

His expression eased.

The remnants of Ilona's possession—Gone.

Memories blurred. Sealed. Only pain would remain.

"...."

Nothing more.

Hayley, Paige, and Paxton continued sleeping on the bed.

Unaware. Safe. That the danger around them has been solved

Jojo turned toward the door.

Tarot box in hand.

Without looking back, he walked out of the room.

The hallway felt lighter.

The pressure gone.

The hunt—Over.

Inside the room, Inadu lowered her hand.

Everything was quiet again.

Jojo stepped out of Jenny's House without a word.

The night air wrapped around him like a quiet accomplice.

In his hand—a tarot deck.

Not ordinary cards.

Each one felt… heavier now. As if they remembered.

He walked the short path to his mansion, the silhouette of Jojo's Mansion looming beside Jenny's place like a silent guardian.

The doors opened before he touched them.

Inside, the common hall display case.

Jojo moved toward one in particular.

The Mirror Display.

He slid a single tarot card out from the deck.

For a brief second—The card flickered.

A screaming face. Chains. Fire.

Then it stilled.

Jojo inserted it into the frame.

-Click.

The mirror rippled like disturbed water… then went still again.

Another soul accounted for.

Another judgment sealed.

Jojo stood there for a moment, flames gone now, human once more—but the silence around him carried weight.

Then he turned away.

This was a cursed object which was retrieved by the Inadu and Leah who went for a case where the things in the room gets missing while it went missing.

then one day the mothers child went missing while they searched the house for the child they couldn't but at night they could hear the cry of their son.

Then Inadu and Leah who after getting the case which the parents registered by the father dealt with the problem and took the cursed mirror which could seal things and living things in it.

While currently it was being used as a storage room by Jojo.

Meanwhile...

Alaska...

Snow whispered against the windows of the Edward residence in Alaska, the cold outside unable to seep into the warmth gathered within.

Edward and Bella stood at the center of it all.

Home.

Cullens as they said finally met Edward and Bella.

Esme embraced Bella gently, her touch filled with quiet relief.

Carlisle followed, already focused, his golden eyes scanning Bella with practiced precision—every subtle change noted, every risk calculated.

After giving her a through checkup.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Nearby—Emmett leaned casually against the wall, an arm draped over Jess, his mate, who stood beside him with an amused expression, clearly used to his antics.

Jasper stood a little apart, calm but alert, with Edyth at his side—her presence steady, her gaze sharp as if reading the room beneath its surface.

And notably—No Rosalie. No Alice.

Because they had decided to stay with their mate.

With Jojo.

Emmett cracked his knuckles lightly and grinned.

-Grin!

"Well, well… look who finally decided to rejoin civilization."

Edward exhaled with his emo face.

-Sigh!

"Don't start."

Too late.

"Oh, I'm starting,"

Emmett shot back instantly.

"We used to save you, remember? Now we need a tracking spell just to find you."

Jess smirked beside him.

-Smirk!

"He's not wrong."

Emmett leaned forward slightly, grin widening.

-Grin!

"And somehow… he's still the one needing saving."

Bella let out a soft laugh, the tension easing just a fraction.

Edward gave them a flat look—but didn't deny it.

"...."

Carlisle stepped forward, his expression turning serious as he finished examining Bella.

That shift—It silenced the room.

"...."

"...."

"...."

"We don't have time to delay," he said.

Jasper's posture subtly straightened.

Edyth's eyes narrowed just slightly.

Even Emmett's grin faded.

Carlisle continued,

"The safest course is to return to Forks."

A beat of silence followed.

Then—

"Jojo will be there."

That changed everything.

Edward's expression tightened.

Not fear. Not doubt.

Something heavier.

Because Jojo wasn't just powerful.

He was… unpredictable in the way only absolute certainty could be according to him.

Carlisle met Edward's gaze.

"...."

"He won't take any cases until Bella's labor," he said calmly.

"Which means his full attention… will be here."

Jess let out a low whistle and mimicked Edward.

-Whsitle

"That's either incredibly reassuring… or incredibly terrifying."

Emmett chuckled joining in.

-Chuckle!

"Why not both?"

Edward looked at Bella. Her hand found his.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Warm. Fragile. Real.

Conflict flickered in his eyes—Then settled into resolve.

"…We go back," he said quietly.

Jasper gave a small nod.

-Nod

"...."

Edyth didn't speak—but her gaze shifted toward the window, thoughtful.

The decision had barely settled before motion took over.

They didn't linger. They couldn't.

The Cullen convoy didn't travel like humans.

No engines. No roads.

Just speed.

They cut through forests like shadows given intent, the snow of Alaska fading behind them as terrain shifted—ice to earth, silence to wind, stillness to something… watching.

Jasper was the first to slow.

Not stop. Just enough.

A ripple in his instincts.

A disturbance in the emotional current.

"…We're being followed," he said quietly.

Edyth's gaze sharpened instantly.

"How many?"

Jasper tilted his head slightly, listening to something deeper than sound.

"…A lot."

Edward's eyes darkened.

Bella was in his arms the next second, held securely as his pace adjusted—not slower, but tighter, more controlled.

Carlisle moved alongside them, calm but alert.

Emmett—Grinned.

-Grin!

"Oh finally," he muttered. "Was getting bored."

Jess rolled her shoulders.

"You say that now."

The forest changed.

Subtly. Too subtly.

A wire snapped up from the ground—Jasper moved first.

"DOWN."

Edward pivoted mid-stride, twisting through the air as Bella remained untouched, the razor wire slicing past where they had been.

A second later—Boom.

-BOOOMMM!!!

The ground behind them erupted.

"Traps,"

Edyth said sharply.

Not random. Planned. Layered.

They stopped running.

Because now—It wasn't a chase.

It was a hunt.

From the darkness—They emerged.

One by one. Then more.

Then all at once.

Twenty-five. Vampire hunters. Not amateurs.

Their movements were precise, coordinated—each one positioned to cut off escape routes, their weapons gleaming faintly with coatings that weren't meant for humans.

Silver.

Venom-laced edges.

Mechanisms designed to immobilize.

Not kill instantly—But ensure the kill came.

One of them stepped forward.

Scar across his face. Eyes cold.

"Target confirmed," he said.

His gaze locked onto Bella and then Edward.

"Priority objective."

That was enough.

Emmett cracked his neck.

-Crack!

Carlisle exhaled slowly.

Jasper stepped forward—And the air itself shifted.

"Protect Bella,"

Edward said quietly reading their mind.

Then—Everything exploded into motion.

A hunter lunged—Intercepted instantly.

Emmett caught him mid-air and slammed him into the ground hard enough to crater the earth.

Jess followed through, disarming another with a clean, brutal strike.

Jasper moved like flowing intent—redirecting attacks before they landed, his control over the battlefield almost surgical.

Hunters hesitated. Second-guessed.

Felt fear where there was none before.

And that hesitation—Cost them.

Edyth moved beside him, fast and precise, dismantling traps before they could trigger, snapping mechanisms apart with controlled force.

"Left flank!" she called.

Jasper adjusted instantly.

Carlisle didn't rush. Didn't overextend.

He stayed near Edward—Near Bella—Every movement defensive, calculated.

A shield.

But the hunters adapted quickly. Too quickly.

"Switch pattern," the scarred leader ordered.

And suddenly—The fight changed.

More traps triggered at once.

Explosions forced separation.

Wires, nets, binding tools—Not meant to fight strength.

Meant to divide it.

Edward's eyes sharpened.

"They're not trying to win head-on," he realized.

"They're stalling."

"For what?" Jess snapped, flipping over a sweeping strike.

Then—

A distant click.

Jasper's head snapped toward the sound.

His expression changed.

Not fear.

Worse.

Recognition.

"…We need to move," he said immediately.

"NOW."

Edward didn't argue.

He didn't question. He trusted.

"Fall back!" Carlisle ordered.

The Cullens shifted instantly—tight formation, Bella at the center.

They didn't retreat blindly. They broke through.

Emmett bulldozed the front line, creating an opening.

Jess and Edyth cleared the sides.

Jasper disrupted pursuit—And Edward—Moved. Fast.

Faster than before. No restraint now.

Behind them—The hunters didn't chase recklessly.

They regrouped. Watched. Calculated.

The scarred leader lowered his weapon slightly, a faint smirk forming.

"Phase one complete."
