Anne Sutton froze for a moment and looked at him.
Nathan Fawcett reached out, pulled her into his arms, and held her.
His body was ice-cold. Anne Sutton was in a terrible mood and had no idea what he was doing.
She didn't move as he held her, her mind consumed with the day's events.
'If Miles Prescott dared to warn me like this today, he might do something even more outrageous to punish me if I don't do as he pleases in the future.'
Her family was undoubtedly her weak spot.
