She looked at the adorable Ian and asked, "Why are you touching me like this?"
Ian said with concern, "My dad said you were sick and told me not to bother you! I'm seeing if you have a fever."
He looked so serious as he spoke.
His voice was innocent.
His pronunciation wasn't yet perfect.
But it was enough to melt your heart!
Anne Sutton ruffled his hair. "I'm fine."
Ian said, "I'm glad you're okay! Thank you for coming to my birthday party, Auntie. I'm so happy."
Anne Sutton gazed at him. Today was supposed to be the anniversary of her own child's death.
In previous years, this day had always been the one that brought her the most sorrow.
But now, looking at Ian, she felt as if she were being healed by this little angel.
Ian stayed with Anne Sutton until she finished eating, then he went out.
Anne Sutton needed to change, and Ian had to get ready as well.
After changing, she came downstairs and saw Ian standing there, with two older children in front of him.
