Stella Shields watched this scene, a smile playing on her lips. She was the one who had called Charles Prescott over.
It had also been her idea for him to come pick up Anne Sutton. Thankfully… Charles Prescott hadn't disappointed.
She said, "Ethan, are you okay? I can get out and call Ms. Sutton over!"
Nathan Fawcett watched the scene unfold. Seeing Anne Sutton's intimate behavior with Charles Prescott, he picked up his phone and made a call.
Anne Sutton was being blocked by Charles Prescott when she saw the call. The name "Ethan Linden" was on the screen. She answered, "Hello."
Nathan Fawcett asked, "Where are you? I'll come get you."
Anne Sutton said, "I'm staying with my mother at the hospital tonight. I'm not coming back."
She hadn't planned on going back anyway. Nathan Fawcett's words from that morning still bothered her a great deal.
She was planning to go back to her own place near the hospital.
