"You've barely been at the company these past few days. I heard you're at the hospital taking care of that hag of yours?"
"Watch your mouth!" Sean Sutton's face darkened. He glanced guiltily at Anne Sutton. Seeing Anne standing off to the side, he grew nervous, even though she was far away.
He asked, "What do you want?"
"I'm calling to tell you that our Yvonne is being bullied. Are you going to do something about this or not?"
"Bullied?" Sean Sutton said. "Who would dare bully her?"
"What do you mean, who would dare?" Maya Evans said from the other end. "She's been fired! And I heard it was your eldest daughter who did it! She's really something else! No other skills to speak of, but first-class when it comes to bullying!"
"That's not true!" Sean Sutton said.
