Chapter 1
Anne Sutton had nothing else to do at the moment, so she didn't leave. She just sat down to the side.
She picked up her phone and glanced at it. Nathan Fawcett was sitting nearby, staring at her.
Anne Sutton scrolled to a news article, which happened to be about the production team of Evening Face, and it involved Stella Shields.
The last time she'd seen any news about it, it was about Stella Shields being replaced as the female lead.
But this time, the news was that Stella Shields had been cast as the second female lead.
Apparently, the script for the second female lead in Evening Face was also brilliant.
Anne Sutton looked up and glanced silently at Nathan Fawcett. She'd originally thought he was punishing Stella Shields, but now… 'This is no punishment. He's obviously protecting her!'
After all, sometimes the second female lead becomes a bigger breakout star than the main one.
