Anne Sutton glanced at Ian. Seeing the little guy's pitiful expression, she said, "If feeling sorry for a child is being 'unreasonable,' then I'd rather be unreasonable! Even if you want him to learn, you should at least respect his wishes!"
Master Linden looked at Anne Sutton and said, "If it weren't for Ian and Nathan, the Linden Family would never accept an ordinary woman like you!"
Anne Sutton looked at Master Linden and said, "In that case, it seems you have a better candidate in mind, Master Linden. Then you should just let someone else marry Nathan Fawcett!"
After saying her piece, Anne Sutton stood up.
Nathan Fawcett looked at her and said, "Anne!"
"Don't try to stop me!" Anne Sutton said, then picked up Ian and walked out the door.
She had wanted to get along with them, but it was hopeless...
It seemed she wasn't welcome in the Linden Family.
Master Linden had given her attitude from the very first time they met, and Anne Sutton was genuinely furious!
