Anne Sutton sat to the side, watching Caleb Summers. She had been in a pretty good mood, especially since Nathan Fawcett had managed to cheer her up last night.
But now, after hearing what Caleb said, Anne felt her mood souring again.
'It would have been better if he hadn't spoken at all!'
'He's such a killjoy!'
Nathan Fawcett noticed this too. He looked at Caleb Summers and said, "You think you know everything, don't you? Can't even a delicious breakfast like this shut you up?"
Caleb glanced meekly at Nathan. "I was just being realistic. All right, I'll shut up!"
After breakfast, Nathan Fawcett and Caleb Summers went to the office together.
He brought Ian with them!
In the car, Ian was focused on his phone.
Nathan Fawcett looked at Caleb Summers and said, "I'm warning you. If you ever spout that kind of nonsense in front of your sister-in-law again, you're not welcome at my house anymore!"
