Due to the typhoon, Aethel had given everyone the day off. But Aiden Sinclair still came to the office to handle work, where he found Jay Keane looking miserable.
"You can take the day off if you're tired."
"It's not me, Mr. Sinclair. I'm worried about your health. Your last injury hasn't fully healed, and you got soaked in the rain last night. If you don't rest properly, you'll get sick again."
After leaving the hospital last night, Aiden Sinclair had disappeared somewhere. He returned covered in mud and soaked to the bone.
"I'm not that fragile."
Besides, his plan was at its most critical stage. He couldn't afford to let his guard down.
Aiden Sinclair worked for a while before Sophia Sawyer called. Clara Jacobs's father, Clark Jacobs, had arrived and was now at the hospital. Aiden had to go.
