"Dad, I don't want to live here," Lemonie said to Aiden Sinclair.
Aiden Sinclair was surprised. Just like every other time, he had already moved all of his daughter's things over.
"Why don't you like it here, sweetheart?"
Lemonie didn't speak, just shook her head.
Aiden Sinclair held her and walked slowly around the room. This was how he had always comforted his daughter since she was little.
"There are a lot of older boys and girls at the university who love to draw and design clothes just like you. Whenever you want to go out and have fun, Daddy will take you, okay?"
The matter of Noelle Preston being Nina Walsh... Aiden Sinclair wanted to wait until he had more concrete evidence before telling Lemonie.
Aiden Sinclair carried Lemonie to her little bed and carefully lulled her to sleep. As he got up to leave, he noticed that the photo frame that used to hold Nina Walsh's picture on the nightstand was gone.
