Solid iron, machinery across his face and arms, colored wires that housed cooling and open entrances, a way to pick up the waters close by from Focalor and shape around as blades to slash at Mawkin's body. Utilizing Crocell, Zazel would give him no opening. Mawkin would try to match his energy, but every strike he dealt, he shone those ruby-like eyes. He'd aim for quick jabs, letting the water hang in mid-air so he can use without touching his skin. Mawkin recognized he was being cornered, as no matter how much he moves, the droplets would eventually either tag him or set him up for a potential blow to his vitals, seeing them swirl and try to shoot for his lungs. He'd keep himself at equal pace, letting the straw fly freely and absorb the droplets as they came, keeping an eye on the Demon for any other attacks.
BANG!!!
A near miss. Barely grazing his arm. Sabnock was still firing, not letting him get a chance either. Aym was scurrying across the burning ground in order to inflict such misfortune on the Dhampir, making sure he was bound to slip up. A drastic measure, as he'd have it scatter and attach itself to nearby demons, before backing off fully, panting as he burned through lots of energy. His heart was starting to reform, but it wasn't enough. He could feel his vision blurring slightly, his legs already being weak. He'd try to let the small straw prick into his body, hitting at his nerves, all in an effort to keep himself awake. Such small pokes, however, would give him an idea as to how he can let him react and avoid such strikes before they come about. He'd let them take aim as he'd watch Zazel come in, seeing Malthus grab ahold and keep him steady while the Devil took another swift spear ahead.
SHIKK!!!!
Scattering like the wind. The impact was made, but there was barely any damage. Moreover, as the straw tethered onto the Devil, a sharp pain was made against his own chest, prompting him to reel back and clutch at his heart. An invisible pain piercing through, as he watched Mawkin make a small smile, once he got some distance and showed the other demons being affected, some quickly breaking away back into energy, inserting themselves into Zazel after serving their purpose. "I was right... I WAS RIGHT! If I timed my straw to hit you and strike my nerves first, I can create a mirror! I can make myself be immune to the attack and hit you back in the same force! You felt it, right? The stab in your heart? That was what you would've done to me had I not broke it away and dodge in time!" His confidence was evident in his voice, amazed in himself for actually having a proper plan, learning it after his scuffle against the Mentor back in Calibren.
To say that Zazel was impressed was an understatement. He'd regain his breath as he watched the Dhampir try to aim for another swing, parrying it with his arm, letting the water trail and cut through again. Once more, the straw splits off, the searing pain left behind. Once more, his smile brims. Such a smile, however, falters once Zazel immediately pushed through, still letting the water course around and slash into him. Mawkin kept splitting apart over and over, wearing down the Demon as he watched on such suffering, as he watched on such unwavering eyes push on through the pain and survive with no mercy. No remorse. No care for his own well-being. Even as the strikes stack themselves atop one another, The Demon never buckled down. He watched as the straw gets soggy, watching as it weighed him down. An opening for him.
SHIKK!!!
A blow right through his stomach.
Blood came down from the Demon's mouth, as he could only go so much.
He still split apart, even as the straw was too dense to sustain. It simply fell down instead of floating away, the moisture absorbed and carrying on as much as it could while Mawkin remained harmless. His magic was still able to work, his eyes widened as he saw such an achievement. He was truly being his own person. He was being his own soldier. He was finally able to go blow for blow and come victorious in one. Wyvios looked down in awe as he saw such a dance, making him be skeptical in his assumption. He truly meant in trying to prove himself for the King of Nihil. "I'll be damned... the Vampire actually DID SOMETHING!" He allowed the people who were once fleeing and being terrified to come back, to let them see their new savior, their new hope, clash against the evils before them. Stolas was able to notice their movements, shuffled and stiff, the moisture in the air hardening parts of their bodies, their faces somewhat crumbling. He watched as the floating straw tethered onto said faces, forging eyes to spectate properly. They weren't human. "And there we have it, my beloved people!" The King began as he raised his arms up high and did grand gestures for emphasis. "There is nothing to fear! Nothing at all! We've bore witness a warrior who is like our very Sun: Bright, Shining, and Casting away all the evils in the world! Nothing more than a miserable mess of soot and gunk! Nothing more than a mass of muscles and meat! Three cheers for our-"
BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!!!!
Electrocuted on the spot, charged across all sides. Mawkin wasn't able to react to the sudden lightning, more so with his dampened body. Zazel wasn't aiming to attack with Crocell. He was aiming to plant a sigil inside him, to react just as autonomous as his own style. To prevent him from splitting apart, less he'd explode and lose every piece of himself to the clay-like ground. Wyvios went silent as he watched the Demon play such a foul trick, a sigil glowing within the Dhampir's body, visible even under such skin.
Furfur.
