Chapter 782 - Chapter 779 Price Shock

"Kasi, go find out what procedures are required to set up a stall here," Dahlia instructed.

"Understood." Kasi then squeezed through the crowd and headed deeper into the Western District.

Mira asked softly, "What are we going to do later?"

"Sell things normally." Dahlia smiled faintly. Paired with her sexy red lips, it instantly made the people around them stare blankly.

After a while, Kasi returned.

"You can set up a stall here for one copper coin a day. I've already paid the fee." Kasi held a wooden plaque in his hand; it was the permit to set up a stall.

"Let's go find a place with fewer people." Dahlia nodded. Her beautiful eyes scanned the area; within the massive plaza, there weren't many empty spaces.

The soldiers then cleared a path in front, but after walking around the entire area, they didn't see a suitable spot.

"What do we do now?" Mira said helplessly. Looking at the sea of people, she wrinkled her nose slightly. The smell here was truly not very pleasant.

A mixture of all sorts of odors blended together, making it a bit hard for her to tolerate.

"Here's some perfume, spray a little." Seeing Mira's expression, Elisa took a bottle of perfume from her breast pocket and handed it to her.

"Thank you," Mira said gratefully as she took the perfume.

This perfume was the top-tier grade from Sedona City. Mira poured out a tiny bit and gently dabbed it on her wrists and behind her neck. This was what Lucas had taught them; this way, the fragrance would emanate more thoroughly.

"That's much better." Mira breathed a sigh of relief. Smelling the fragrance wafting from her wrists, she felt as if she had come back to life.

"If there's no stall available, we'll just buy one." Dahlia's eyes flickered as she scanned the surrounding stalls, finally locking onto the stall of a dwarven woman.

In front of the dwarven woman lay a piece of tattered linen spread on the ground. On it were a few pieces of iron. None of them were large, and they appeared to be of low quality; no one was asking for their prices.

"Sister, how much for these pieces of iron?" Dahlia walked up to the dwarven woman, slowly squatting down to look at the pig iron on the linen.

The intelligence Number Seven had gathered indicated that the Deepstone Dwarf Kingdom had many iron mines, and ordinary dwarven commoners were also allowed to mine and smelt iron. Perhaps due to technical limitations, the quality of the iron they smelted wasn't high, and the weapons forged from it weren't great either. The time invested was completely disproportionate to the income.

Therefore, some dwarves would sell their iron in exchange for food, which would actually earn them a bit more.

"Altogether, it's one hundred and twenty copper coins," The woman said timidly. Fortunately, Dahlia didn't look like some vicious thug, so she didn't panic completely.

"Here is one hundred and twenty-five copper coins. I'll buy all your iron, but I need to borrow this stall spot from you for the day." Dahlia took a pouch of copper coins from Kasi and handed it to the woman.

"Yes, yes, of course." The woman wasn't stupid. After taking the copper coins, she grabbed her things and left happily.

In her heart, she marveled at meeting such a wealthy patron; otherwise, she might have sat there all day without selling a single piece of iron.

This iron had taken her family half a month to smelt. Selling it even a day late meant a loss. Her family needed coins to buy more iron ore to smelt and earn the difference.

"Alright, now we have a stall." Dahlia looked at the two behind her, a light smile on her face.

"That works too..." Mira was momentarily stunned.

"It's just that simple." Elisa chuckled lightly and immediately ordered the men to set up the stall.

The soldiers beside her were sharp. They cleared away the tattered linen from the ground, took out the fine linen they had brought, and spread it flat. Then, chest after chest was opened, and the items inside were taken out and arranged on the cloth.

Soon, the space in front of Dahlia's trio was filled with goods. There was liquor, premium linen, some canned food, and a small amount of cosmetics. Naturally, there was no shortage of peculiar and novel items, such as lollipops, instant noodles, and the like.

The soldiers formed a half-moon formation, enclosing the three women and leaving only a small opening, ensuring the surrounding dwarves didn't dare to chaotically squeeze forward.

"Dahlia, setting up a stall here... will anyone actually buy our things?" Mira asked with a hint of worry.

After all, some of the items in front of them were not cheap. The wealthy wouldn't come to a place like this, simply because it was too chaotic and mixed; it was hard to find anything good here.

"Don't worry," Dahlia smiled faintly. She then picked up a piece of lip paper from the stall and pressed it between her lips.

Seeing this, Elisa silently picked up a glass cup, opened a bottle of Whispering Dawn, poured half a glass, and began to sip it slowly.

Their actions instantly drew the attention of many people. Regardless of gender, anyone who saw this scene couldn't tear their eyes away.

It was just that their points of focus were different. Almost all the females were focused on the lip paper in Dahlia's hand, while the males were all gulping, staring intently at the wine glass in Elisa's hand.

After all, for the alcohol-loving nature of the dwarves, wine was what held a truly fatal temptation.

"Such fragrant wine." The sound of people swallowing their saliva echoed continuously from the surroundings.

"E-excuse me, how much is this wine?" A dwarf couldn't hold back any longer and asked curiously.

"One silver coin per bottle," Elisa said flatly. The Whispering Dawn they brought this time came in three grades, and the bottles weren't large. The one Elisa was currently drinking was the second-grade wine.

The lowest grade of Whispering Dawn was one hundred copper coins, and the first grade was ten silver coins. There were naturally even higher grades, but they hadn't brought them out.

The other restless dwarves all gasped sharply upon hearing the price.

One silver coin for a single bottle of wine—that was extraordinarily expensive. Only those nobles could afford to consume wine that cost a silver coin.

"Then what is that lady holding in her hand?" A female dwarf inquired, looking at the lip paper Dahlia held.

"This is called lip paper. It can make your lips incredibly alluring." A captivating smile curved the corners of Dahlia's mouth.

"Lip paper? How much is it?" The female dwarf's eyes lit up, her heart beginning to flutter. This lip paper was extremely tempting to her.

"One silver coin per box," Dahlia said softly. The quantity of lip paper they had was still too small, limited by the scarcity of materials.

This price, however, gave the female dwarves a massive shock. Many of them didn't even dare to ask any more questions.
