"So, you'd rather side with a stranger than your own son? Why should Edward Anderson get to boss me around? If an outsider looks down on me, does that mean even you, Mom, look down on your own son?" Easton Hernandez interrupted Linda Stuart, his expression cold.
"I'm not looking down on you, I just think there's no need for you to do this." Linda's concern, of course, was still Mira Reed.
If Mira Reed were to coax Easton into doing bad things or causing trouble within the company, wouldn't that be inviting a wolf into the house?
The company had finally stabilized after much difficulty, and Tina Hernandez had been struggling recently. Linda didn't want Easton to cause trouble for Tina at this time.
"Regardless, I want to join Sunrise Industries. I want to seriously do my job well this time and make you all see me in a new light. Mom, give me a chance," Easton softened his tone.
