Maggie Lauper was furious, pointing at Bella Scott's nose and accusing her, "Did you do that on purpose?"
Mira Reed had never seen Maggie like this before. She quietly defended Bella, "Maggie, don't be angry. Bella just speaks her mind quickly—"
"Mira Reed, you shut up too!" Maggie got even angrier when she heard Mira's words.
That girl was supposed to be her pawn, yet she was defending that stupid woman Bella. What use could such a pawn be?
Mira felt a little wronged but did not dare to speak again.
"I'm the one who said the wrong thing, not Jean. If you're angry, take it out on me. Why do you have to get so worked up at her?" Bella Scott defended Mira.
Maggie sneered, "When did you two become such good sisters-in-law?"
They should really restore Mira's memory, so she can see how ridiculous she is.
"It's probably the so-called familiarity breeds fondness. I find that I get along really well with Jean, and we have a lot in common," Bella Scott said with a beaming smile.
