Chang Qing knew that only the section ahead would have a landslide, while the road behind them was safe.
Right now even if they didn't back up, it wouldn't be a problem, but Xiaobei didn't know that. He nodded. "Okay, drive without worries, nothing will happen behind us."
When this heavy snow finally stopped, Xiaobei and Chang Qing, who had been trapped here, were safely led to the station by the driver of a large truck driving ahead of them.
At the station entrance, Chang Qing was carrying a big canvas duffel bag, smiling warmly at Xiaobei, then he waved hard at him, and Xiao Bei did the same.
Because of days of blizzards and the bad road conditions, Xiaobei simply stayed at a nearby base.
This was also the result Chang Qing worked out in consultation with his work unit over the phone.
Xiaobei naturally knew Engineer Chang was doing this for his sake.
Not until Chang Qing's back disappeared into the crowd in the waiting hall did Xiaobei turn and walk out.
