(Jason's POV)
"So this is it?" I asked as I walked around the area of the massive temple ruins in front of me
"It appears so...." Anna said a she walked towards a massive fountain in the front, "These statues, do you recognize them?"
I stopped and looked at what she was referring to. There were massive and worn statues of a tall man with six arms and three faces. The details of the statues were weathered down, but there was something awfully familiar about them.
I shrugged, "No." I said as I stood next to her, "Let's go check out the inside, there must be something inside."
"Okay..." She said, "Let's be careful."
As we proceeded to walk towards the moss-covered stairs, I felt a presence behind us.
"Hm?" I said as I turned around
I saw as Heine Lunacy was standing behind us, wearing her cloak as she gave me a scowl.
"You." She said with a serious tone
"Oh, Heine." I said, "You made it."
I had given Heine the location of where Irene was supposedly held. After I fucked the shit out of her, I was surprised it took her a bit to get here. Maybe she was recovering from the ravaging I did to her.
Heine began to walk past us, "I don't know why you're here, Jason." She said, "But stay out of my way, Lady Irene is mine to release."
"Hm." I said, "Well, I don't doubt it. But she's the mother of my child, I have to at least help out."
"No." She snapped, "You made your choice! After I release Lady Irene, we shall return to Arakitashia with the Young Master!"
I raised an eyebrow, "You really think Erion is going with you?" I said, "No shot in hell."
"Let's calm down." Anna said, "We're all in uncharted territory, even you young lady from Alvarez. You would be wise to stay with us and not be so hostile."
Heine frowned, "Hm...." She said as she clenched her fists, "F-Fine.....but keep him away from me....he's such a rude bastard....didn't let me rest one bit...."
She muttered the last parts and I couldn't help but smile.
"Sorry, Heine." I chuckled, "I'll make it up to you. Next time, I'll be gentle."
"Shut up." She grumbled as she turned around, "Anyways, I had scouted this place yesterday. There were Cultists here, too many of them for me to bother engaging."
I nodded, "Okay." I said, "What did you find out?"
"Not much." She said, "They had a massive Brazier that they were worshipping, it looked like. The amount of flames emitted from the thing was worrisome."
"Flaming Brazier?" Anna said, "That's odd."
Heine nodded, "Indeed." She said, "What's weirder is that I was affected by the heat even though I was nowhere near them. But none of them and I mean none of them seemed fazed by it. I couldn't stop sweating."
"Hm.." I said, "They must have some resistance....."
I looked up at the entrance of the Temple, seeing massive carvings on the stone. They were those of the man the statues depicted. I wonder what that's about. Does it relate to the cultists and the flaming brazier?
Something told me they didn't. Something else was at play here.
"Anna." I said, "Are you certain this is where the power was used?"
She looked at me, "Yes." She nodded, "It is....I swear...."
I sighed, "Let's go in then." I said as I stepped forward and walked past Heine,
"Be on your guard."

(Third Person POV)
"Was it a good idea to listen to him?" Nirvana asked Therion
They were inside an outpost somewhere in the mountains, Therion and Nirvana had taken their cultists and moved out of the temple.
Therion was sitting down as he patted down his sleeves, "All is the will of the Blazing Black One." He said as he looked off into the distance, "Something tells me that man was sent here for a reason."
"To kill Jason Darkborne, right?" Nirvana said
"No." Therion said, "It is much deeper than that....I can feel it....."
Therion stood up and looked over to a massive bonfire that the Cultists were around. Next to one of the Cultists, the Armored Knight stood with his arms crossed.
"My question is why he would have us move out here when Jason could've come straight at us." Nirvana asked, "You said the Dragon Queen was bait for him. It was a perfect opportunity to make ourselves known!"
"No." Therion said, "It is not time for us to reveal ourselves. The Flame Dragon God has made his move; Ignia is scouring the continents in search for The Dragon Queen."
Nirvana looked at her, "Are you serious???" She asked, "Who told you this?"
"Our friends in Guiltina." Therion said, "Sousuke and Arian are still undercover."
"I see..." Nirvana said, "So....it was a good thing we moved?"
"If we get found out by Jason Darkborne, it's one thing." Therion said while crossing his arms, "But if we get sniffed out by Ignia or the other Dragon 'Gods', it's another. We cannot risk it."
"Those false gods..." Nirvana said with distaste in her voice, "How dare they claim to be at the same level as His Majesty...."
Therion began to pace around, "What bothers me is one thing; how did this Man know of this?" He said, "And what relationship does he have with the Dragon Queen? He seemed too attached to her...Speaking of, is the Seal secured?"
Nirvana nodded, "It is." She said, "I made sure of it. What you're saying is...this Maliketh man....should we trust him?"
Therion put his hand on his chin and looked over to the Knight who was merely staring at the flames. Out of everyone there, the Knight was emitting the most magic power. Therion and Nirvana were aware of this, and it worried them a bit. They were powerful in their own right, but this man was something else to them.
"If The Blazing Black One, his glory almighty, sent him...." Therion said, "Then....we must have faith...."
Nirvana sighed, "I guess so..." She said, "I wanted to kill Jason Darkborne though.....such a shame...."
Therion looked at her, "Worry not." she said,
"The time will come for that."
