(Jason's POV)
"Well well well...." I said as I stepped through the door, "If it isn't my old friend, Tendo."
I saw Tendo, the owner of the Hot Springs Resort, sitting behind the front desk. He was wearing his usual straw hat, which looked a bit more worn out.
"Ah, Jason-san!" He said with joy, "Welcome! Welcome!"
I looked around, "Where's Seth?" I asked
"Ah, Seth is currently delivering more shipments of ingots to the Magic Council." He said
"Oh?" I said, "Business is good?"
Tendo nodded, "Yes, but we've arrived at a problem, you see." He said as he walked around the desk and towards me, "You know how you've told us to only sell the steel to the Magic Council and other Guilds?"
I nodded, "Yes." I said, "And only sell 2 Ingots per purchase at a high price."
Tendo nodded, "That has been working and all, we've made a fortune." He said, "I got your share of this month, but that's not the issue. Some Dark Guilds have caught a sniff of what we're doing, Jason. We need your help on this. Seth doesn't feel safe while making the deliveries, he took the gun you gave us!"
"Say no more." I said seriously, "You are my business partners, any potential threat to you, I will deal with. Where are these Dark Guilds? I'll go right now and destroy them. I'm serious."
"A-Ah, that's not necessary.....Yet...." Tendo said, "I have Seth on call at all times..."
He pulled out a lacrima communications device that I gifted him.
"So far, he's good...." He continued, "Business, albeit a bit elusive, has been good. The stock you gave us might last us a few years and it will provide enough funds to last a lifetime. I've done some remodeling to the rooms last month. Jason, i cannot thank you enough how much you've helped us with this. We've started to build a massive house on the hills."
"Oh, shit, that was yours?" I said, "That's crazy, man. You guys lived in the Hot Springs for a while, you deserve a house."
I patted him on the shoulder as he chuckled, "Yes, you're correct." He said, "By the way, where are the missus? Mavis-san and Kagura-san?"
"Oh, they stayed to take care of the kid." I said as we walked towards the entrance to the Hot Springs, "You know how it is with that one."
He shuddered a bit, "I still cannot get over the scare he gave us. You should teach him not to transform in front of civilians, Jason-san!" He exclaimed
I chuckled, "Yea, I know." I said, "But it's okay, he's harmless to humans. Unless you're another dragon, he won't bother you."
"That doesn't make it better...." He said as I rubbed his neck
"So, besides picking my share this month." I started, "I've come to ask you for a favor."
"You already know, Jason..." Tendo said, "You and your ladies can stay here whenever and however long you wish."
"Well, I'll take you up on that right now..." I said, "But that's not it. Remember That?"
He stopped and narrowed his eyes, "Oh? You don't mean...." He said, "Jason, I thought we weren't gonna discuss it anymore...."
I nodded, "We weren't.." I said, "But I have to move it."
"Very well." He said, "I have to undo the seals you place, good thing you taught me. It'll take a while if we don't wanna catch any unwanted attention. You can stay here for the night, tomorrow morning it'll be done."
I smiled, "Thanks, bud." I said, "I can always count on you."
"Oh, by the way....." He said, "A couple of your mage guild friends stopped by. That girl, Lucy, she was here."
I raised an eyebrow, "Aw man, I missed Lucy?" I said, "That's a bummer."
"Yea, but I believe some other friends of yours are here right now." He said
"Oh shit, really?" I said, "Who?"
"Well, two are those erm...." He looked around to see if we were being heard, "Ahem.....Inhuman...."
Inhuman? Oh, he means demons. He doesn't like saying those words out loud, just in case people hear him.
Oh wait, he means Igora and Seilah. They're here.
"Damn, they're here?" I said, "Hm...that sounds interesting...."
"Thought you should know...." He said, "If you're going to...you know.....take the isolated springs in the corner, nobody should hear you."
I chuckled, "You clever little fox..." I said patting his shoulder,
"Alright."
