Jonathan began to head back to the car, still lost in deep thought he bumped into a stranger, dropping his phone in the process. He quickly apologized then proceeded to bend down to pick up his phone, the stranger he bumped into slipped something into his pocket before quickly leaving. Jonathan feeling the sudden tug into his pocket grabbed the phone and got up, placing his hand inside his pocket to see what had been slipped in. he took out a tiny piece of paper then looked around only to notice the stranger had vanished into the winds of the park. He stood there for a bit looking around hoping to catch the strange person but in the end he gave up and decided to head back to the car. Upon reaching the car he quickly got inside then took out the tiny piece of paper which he had put back inside his pocket. The piece of paper was oddly blank and had nothing scribbled on it, Jonathan kept turning the paper around and bringing it closer to eye level to see if something small had been written on it. After a while of looking he took out his phone and put on his flashlight to look more closely, he saw some faint writing and as he brought the paper closer to eye level he suddenly got a fright from a sudden knocking on the car window. It was a police officer who then pointed at a nearby 'no parking' sign that Jonathan had managed to miss earlier when he parked the car. He quickly apologized and drove off, the streets were packed with heavy traffic as it was around the hour when most people got off work. After a long while of just being stuck in traffic that seemed to never move, he decided to take a shortcut through a very dimly lit and quiet neighborhood. There was no one around the streets and as he drove by some would close their curtains or quickly head inside the houses, it was a rather odd sight. As he kept looking around in curiosity he suddenly bumped into a huge rock he had not seen as he wasn't paying attention to the road. The day's sun seemed to set quickly as he got out of the car to check the tires, he sighed in frustration noting that one of them had flattened from the sudden collision with the rock. He went to go check the back of the car for any spare tires as he was beginning to get anxious with the passing time and the growing late hour. To his utter surprise there were no spare tires in the back, he went back inside the car and took out his phone in an attempt to call a tow truck and to his added misfortune found that there was no cell service at that moment. And so he decided to try his luck with the nearby community members, he walked up to the closest house from where the car broke down and tried knocking on the door. He was met with no reply but still insisted on knocking as he could hear faint whispering from inside the house.
'Hello, anyone home? I need help." he kept saying with each knock met with silence. 'Can I help?" someone asked from behind causing Jonathan to jump back from being caught of guard. It was rather because he had not even heard the person approaching from the back. He quickly turned back to see an old lady supposedly in her 70s.
'They won't open the door, so just come with me' she said. 'But why?', 'We don't get much new people around here, you see', 'New people? So no one visits this side of the city?', 'Yes my child, we're quite isolated around here', 'It's just a part of the city though' Jonathan said worriedly. 'Come on child, it's getting late, I'll give you some biscuits while you wait for a tow truck' She said dismissing his worries. 'I haven't called one yet, the cell service around here is weak', 'Well i called one so come with me', 'I can just wait in the car, thanks', It wasn't a request.' The old lady said giving Jonathan a wide familiar grin. Everything began to look blurry and fuzzy as Jonathan looked at the old lady one last time noticing her pitch black eyes. "Remember me?"...
