Chapter 87 - Duel and Isao.

For an average person, the situation where an eight-year-old boy acts so soberly and calmly, his behavior, prudence, and Severus's character as a whole may seem impossible. After all, the kid is basically still a child, yet he executes this, knows what he wants from life, and approaches his own development and future very seriously. His psycho-profile is not typical for a child his age, but one must consider this: he was born and raised under the supervision of the wise, who themselves were born and raised in the gray medieval age! For example, the same Olaf, a native of thirteenth-century Norway, lived in a time when no one cared about the mental health of the younger generation, and morals and values were completely different. Before his eyes, slaves, thralls in his native fjord had their heads cut off for offenses, and he witnessed all this just as he was beginning to become self-aware. For him, it was normal that when everyone went to sleep at night, on the neighboring bench only a meter away from him, his father and mother were making him a little brother or sister. And considering that generations of witchers haven't changed for more than three centuries, since the moment I became their master and made them an immortal race, their subculture has remained unchanged. This is not the case in ordinary society with the ungifted, where the standard course of things is that the old die and the young come with their own ideas of how life should be, so the foundations and traditions are highly changeable. With the witchers, there is none of that, and from the moment they transitioned from simple mercenaries and monster hunters to the Order of the Dragon and became knights under the Vatican's patronage, there has been stability. And through my efforts, this stability hasn't led to stagnation or regression, but rather to rapid development, without losing their usual order and foundations. They are like steel that each year undergoes even stronger tempering, grinding, and sharpening, making them deadlier and more effective in their chosen path.

Not even close to Sparta! Hoplites pale in comparison to my thugs in spirit and willpower, as far as crawling to the moon. By the age of seven, witcher children already begin full combat training, and it's not uncommon for them to suffer serious injuries during sparring sessions, including loss of limbs and gutted abdomens. Naturally, all training fights take place on specially arranged and prepared arenas, which are completely secured by numerous rituals and spells, so it's basically impossible to die in these arenas. Also, consider that all instructors at the Shelter are at least masters of magic, for whom even resurrecting a corpse a week fresh is not a problem if the soul hasn't gone on to reincarnation or gotten stuck in someone's egregore or a demon's stomach. In general, witchers are preparing the perfect weapon from their own children!

I'm sure that if pacifists and other advocates of all kinds of liberal nonsense learned about what goes on at the Rocky Shelter, they would brand me a despot and tyrant, but I couldn't care less about such people and their opinions. I took the witchers under my wing and gave them a chance not only out of altruistic motives to avoid fading into oblivion, but also to have a weapon at my disposal to protect this world and humanity as a whole. And really, none of the witchers, even from the relatively recent generation (those accepted) and graduates of the Rocky Shelter, who are not even fifty yet, show any negativity about their own fate and place in the world. On the contrary, they are quite satisfied and happy to be who they are.

And watching what is happening now, I could enjoy the result of my efforts in raising a whole new race to the creation of which I contributed and who now fully correspond to my own beliefs about what is right and how things should be, who share my beliefs and worldview. Severus was a clear illustration of this. Confident in himself,Not afraid of responsibility, he was no longer a boy but a fully mature man by character, who now had to show everyone in England and Europe that he represents a force that must be reckoned with not only in the future but already now.

"Lord Malfoy," I addressed the tense but cleverly concealing his true condition from those around him rational man, who was already standing rapidly next to his idiotic son, "I am the escort and responsible person for the heir Prince at this reception. So let's not delay the inevitable. Lord Greengrass has granted us access to the training ground at his manor, so there is no reason to postpone resolving the conflict that happened between my ward and your heir. Let's settle it right now."

Abraxas wanted to tell me a lot, but he was much more perceptive than his son due to age and, accordingly, experience, so only briefly nodding to me, we "in unison" left the ballroom under the gaze of all the guests present at today's reception.

We walked leisurely, and my hand resting on Severus's shoulder was an excellent indicator of his state and mood. I didn't even need to use my almost limitless abilities and possibilities compared to ordinary wizards to sense the complete absence of any nervousness in Edmund's son. Yolanta's grandson was not worried at all about the upcoming duel. And what did he really have to worry about? He had undergone thousands of training sparrings with his peers, witches, and many masters of "combat magic," who drilled him and taught the skill of killing the enemy. No jitters! He had long since lost that during three years of study at the Rocky Refuge, where every sparring could lead to "fatal" injuries.

But from Lucius came genuine fear, though not of Severus, but of his own father, who would definitely punish him upon returning to the family manor for having let him down by his lack of restraint and so easily falling for provocation.

And so, after just ten minutes, we descended to the minus second floor of the ancestral mansion of the most ancient and noble Greengrass family, and if Malfoy senior were not now tense, troubled, and thoughtful about how to mitigate the damage to the family's reputation caused by his heir's actions in the eyes of the greys, and especially Lord Brance, he would surely have asked how it was possible for me to have access to premises situated dangerously close to the ancestral hall of another family and why their protective charms did not activate upon our presence.

Any sane pure-blood wizard would try to protect their most valuable resource—the family altar, which grants access to an additional influx of magic and allows one to pass on their gifts and legacy to descendants—as securely as possible. And such an ancient family of Albion as the Greengrass were real paranoids about this, just like any other in this matter, which is why every meter of their underground was filled with an unthinkable number of wards, magical traps, and other sigils designed to suppress intruders. Yet we encountered no obstacles on our way at all, and Abraxas, as the head of the family, should perfectly understand that without Lord Greengrass nearby, such access would be impossible.

But not in my case. This kind of task was well within my capabilities. I influenced reality at the level of concept, and the local protective charms simply did not see us. So, after ten minutes, the six of us found ourselves in a fairly large basement room thirty by thirty meters, where the walls, floor, and ceiling seven meters high were covered with protective and shielding runes and enchantments, which collectively could hold back the fury of a whole magister's magic for some time.

And then events began to develop very quickly. The seconds swiftly agreed on the terms of the duel, forbade the use of dark magic, and they were ready for battle.

The young wizards took their positions on the dueling track,They were present here and waiting for my signal. There are many variations of possible duels, which are agreed upon in advance by the seconds. In this case, Lucius and Severus will settle their differences according to the commonly accepted European variation. Yeah..... The Malfoy heir once again demonstrated his stupidity, because the terms of the duel he announced as the challenged party implied the use of Magic and Weapons and it would last until one side surrendered or lost consciousness and was unable to continue the duel. Again, yeah! Even renowned masters of dueling do not allow such vague wording of possible methods for resolving disputes. His formulation allowed the use of anything possible. Weapons can include potions, elixirs, artifacts, and how could Lucius know what surprises Severus had hidden in his hands? Too overconfident! And as for the wording regarding Magic, experienced duelists never demand that, limiting themselves to just wands. The most common and frequently used conditions for dueling are either Wand, or Steel, or Wand and Steel! But here Severus has completely free rein to kill with whatever he wants.

"Well then. Let's watch the humiliation of the Malfoy heir!"

After six sensible individuals left the hall where the guests had gathered today to celebrate the engagement, many of those who were farther away from Alfonso with Sylvia and Lord with Lady Greengrass, and if the company nearby allowed for some frankness, these guests immediately began quietly discussing the disgraceful incident. Those guests who were not among the reasonable ones suitable for discussing this topic or were in dangerous proximity to the culprits and organizers of today's celebration had to engage in the usual high-society chatter, talking about the situation in Europe, the new masters of magic, who had relatively recently attained this rank in one of the guilds and thus now represented an interest to the aristocrats, and they also tried to probe the interests of their interlocutors and find possible points of contact for establishing profitable relationships. All of this was accompanied by attempts to lead the interlocutor to confessions in order to replenish their store of valuable information. But alas, today true veterans of backroom politics and intrigues had gathered under the Greengrass roof, so Alfonso learned nothing interesting by eavesdropping on the guests. And since he was already fed up with this celebration but, not wanting to upset his future wife and her relatives, Bransu had to endure this farce, he decided to take advantage of the opportunity and at least slightly improve his mood by watching the upcoming beating of Malfoy's heir, which was about to take place now in the manor's dungeon.

Using a spell from the elemental school intertwined with illusion, he raised a large screen three meters above the floor and the tables with refreshments at the wall, thanks to which all sensible people present in the hall now had the opportunity to see with their own eyes the forthcoming disgraceful defeat of Lucius. Alfonso had no doubt about Severus.

— Thank you, dear. I'm also very curious to see how Severus knocks all the crap out of that idiot. — Narcissa was not only Andromeda's and Bella's beloved younger sister but also Sylvia's cousin and of all the relatives who knew the blonde charmer personally and were enchanted by her sweet and innocent appearance, as well as her angelic character (of course, unless you manage to rattle the girl, then it instantly becomes clear which family she belongs to).

— It's nothing, my love. Eh... It's a pity Lubava isn't with us today. — Svyatozar forbade him to bring his other half to the celebration today, all because he didn't want to reveal the secret that somewhere in Europe there is another unregistered and unknown Archmage. There were many guests present today, and Salazar had no complete confidence that none of them would have the gift of high sensitivity to magical power or an artifact capable of clarifying this matter, and he did not want to take any risks. It was far too early to disclose such information to the public in preparation for his meeting with the Burning Legion; it would have been reckless.

***

I took on the role of arbiter, and after the countdown to the start of the duel ended, everything happened and finished so quickly that Lord Malfoy standing next to me did not even have time to be afraid for his son's fate when, moments ago, the duelists in position came into motion, and two seconds later his heir was already defeated and maimed.

A fire of rage burned in Lucius's soul, and he stoked it fiercely within himself, intending to hit Severus with a bomb spell, filling the spell with maximum power, but nothing came of it.

As soon as my signal sounded, the Prince's prop wand held by the heir came into motion.

In the order, as in the entire magical world, they adhere to the rule of issuing wands to children only upon reaching eleven years old. But naturally, this by no means implies that children are not taught magic before that age. From the age of six, youngsters begin to learn to use their internal reserves, starting from the vital and prana up to the astral and mana. And if in the first year of mastering mystical sciences the emphasis is on control, sensitivity, and shaking up reserves, then in the second year of the seven-year training, practice in potion brewing is added to this, as well as nonverbal and wandless spells ranging from the "simplest" telekinesis to elemental ones, with which children have the highest affinity. And already at eight years old, children are given a prop replica of a conductor and concentrator without any magical essence or enchantment in the form of a wand. It is needed to gradually start positioning and developing the wrist and fingers to instill the skillful ability to handle a wand. It so happens that most of the Roman school of spells cannot be replicated by other schools, and in order to later perform them without words and a wand, it is necessary to bring their execution to automation, a reflex using a concentrator, and only after that can the user's magical body, having sufficient control over mana, perform these spells and charms without it. So it turns out that at the beginning, wandless casting is unavoidable unless the mage wants to deprive themselves in the future of a huge range of useful weavings that can be applied using only their own body.

And it was precisely such a wand, which Severus held in his hand that carried no magic in itself and was only needed at this stage for developing the wrists with memorizing the necessary ritual pattern using it for future spellcasting construction.

The rules according to which the current duel was conducted required a certain stance before the duel started: the mage must have a wand raised in a bent elbow hand in front of the face, with the tip pointing upward.

And as soon as I gave the signal to start the fight, the heir Prince surprised everyone by using his wand, which was an ordinary piece of wood, as a throwing weapon.

Severus, having what strength he had, threw it at Lucius aiming slightly above the chest closer to the right collarbone of the hand in which the peacock held his wand, and to achieve the best effect, he also added speed to the projectile with telekinesis, causing the wand to accelerate to a speed slightly less than that of a crossbow bolt.

Malfoy did not have time to react before the improvised projectile pierced through him, but just as he opened his mouth to scream, his legs were frozen to the floor and covered with ice almost up to the knees. Meanwhile, Severus made a sharp dash to close in, breaking Lucius's knee with his foot, which, with a bone-creaking sound, bent backward causing an open fracture and prompting Malfoy to fall face-first toward his opponent. But Severus did not stop his execution there. If he had his way, he would have gutted this creature, who dared to make moves with obvious intentions toward the girl he already had his eye on, but the heir Prince's rage was held firmly in check by his mental gift and trance, taught to him by his grandmother and popular among death mages of old.

Using the broken leg of Malfoy, now screaming heartbreakingly, as support, he slightly crouched and made a half-turn from this position, driving an elbow strike into the idiot's jaw, not stopping his rotation. After the crushing blow, which knocked Lucius unconscious, he ended up behind him, and if this duel were mortal, it would have ended with the defeated opponent's throat being cut, as Severus demonstrated by slashing his dagger in its sheath across his neck, as if saying the duel was over. The thing is, until one of the seconds demands to stop the duel, thus conceding defeat, or the opponent themselves admits defeat, the duel continues. The problem was that Theodore simply couldn't keep track of what had happened, and for him, everything looked too incredible. The signal had barely sounded, and his friend was already lying on the floor, mangled and rapidly bleeding, while Severus was sheathing a dagger behind his belt.

One and a half seconds! That's how long it took Yolanta's grandson to decisively beat up the idiot who thought way too highly of himself and dared to attack the girl who, within just an hour of meeting him, managed to take control of the heir of the Prince's mind and touch his heart.

Yeah... He really did a number on Lucius. Jaw shattered to bits, teeth crushed, knee joint destroyed, ligaments torn, plus an open fracture, which is why a noticeable pool of blood formed under Lucius's body after the blow to the face and keeps growing. Abraxas was horrified by what happened and looked at Severus with hatred, but didn't go further, as I was present. He doesn't know my power, but he's sure that if the duel had occurred away from inhabited places and unknown to many outsiders, Lord Malfoy wouldn't have been able to hold back and would have attacked the heir of the Prince who crippled his son.

Only, I think that in that case the Malfoy family would have ended its centuries-old history right there. Undoubtedly, Abraxas has more magical power and a much wider repertoire of spells and other useful battle knowledge, but he's not a fighter. Knowing and being able to perform hundreds of combat spells doesn't make him a serious opponent for Severus. He lacks the main thing—the equally precise, well-developed, and honed skills in eliminating an opponent that the heir of the Prince possesses.

Three years of training under the guidance of real monsters who have gone through hundreds, if not thousands of battles, both with various creatures and wizards, and throughout all that time, under the harshest—even cruelest—conditions, hammering their knowledge into the younger generation of witchers. This is not something trivial.

And while these thoughts raced through my mind and Lord Malfoy was trying to patch up his heir, casting spells to stop the bleeding and ease the pain, I was deeply stunned, using a considerable amount of power to evaporate the ice that Severus had previously applied to immobilize Lucius by freezing his legs to the floor.

Unbelievable! The boy managed to do what his grandmother did relatively recently, only about a hundred years ago, and by that time she was already an Archmage.

Oh, the Pevens' blood runs strong in him!!! He managed to tap into the heritage of his blood and, using his kinship with death, summon ice from Helheim, which bound Malfoy's heir's legs.

Not even his Hellfire could shake or harm him, and it took me a great effort to free the stunned peacock, enough to burn down the multimillion city of London to ashes—and that was just to evaporate less than half a cubic of ice! Can you imagine?

— Your heir is freed, and I advise you to hurry to see the healer. The frostbite Lucius suffered on his legs will be very difficult to heal, and it's best to start treatment immediately.

The Malfoy heir was wearing tall cavalry boots made of dragon leather on his feet today, but after being trapped for some time in the ice of Helheim, once I freed Lucius's legs, the boots crumbled into small bits, exposing the legs of the idiot who managed to anger Morena's descendant. If his legs had remained in such captivity for another minute, amputation would have been necessary.

Abraxas did not reply to my recommendation but hastily grabbed his now unrestrained son and, levitating Lucius before him, quickly headed to the upper levels toward the apparation platform. Although he would most likely use the fireplace. Firstly, it's unknown how shifting through a space rift might affect his already pitiful son's condition, and secondly, he's not in the emotional state right now to risk and attempt to perform paired apparation.

— A written apology from the Malfoy heir will be enough. A personal meeting is undesirable. – Ronald said this to Theodore, who wanted to follow Lord Malfoy and leave our creepy company. He himself couldn't keep up with the duel, lacking the speed of perception, and was distracted at that moment because he was staring at Ronald, whose hands were emitting electric arcs and discharges at that time. The Gryffindor heir was quite a troublemaker in childhood, but even after maturing and growing up, nothing changed in his character. And since he was chosen as the second and had to ensure the rules were followed, he was eagerly waiting and hoping that either Theodore or Abraxas would try to intervene before it ended or somehow break the rules. So he was ready to fry them both at any moment. As for the lightning and why this element was chosen, there is some part of my fault in that.

After I effectively became the absolute ruler of almost all of Eurasia (Europe, where everything is currently governed by the Catholic Church, Japan with the Russian Empire ruled by my vassal Jaromir, as well as China, where Kenmei runs everything) I periodically have to solve both economic and social issues. But one of my main tasks was the proper upbringing of the younger generation in the territories under my control. And the most obvious, simple, and effective way to influence children's minds I saw in the sphere of leisure and entertainment, namely in the publishing business, which includes various kinds of journalism and fiction, as well as cinema.

From my past world, I had already noticed from early childhood that in almost all Hollywood action movies, the villains are always Russians or Chinese. Naturally, I didn't pay much attention to this then, but as I grew older, it became clear to me why all this was done. Thus, America formed a stereotype for the whole world of our image, that Russians are always negative, where belonging to this nation is by definition a sign of depravity and negativity.

So I didn't reinvent the wheel but simply used a long-known technology for shaping public opinion and, with the help of television and literature, began to influence people's consciousness, directing their thoughts, hopes, and dreams into the correct and necessary direction for my purposes.

Thanks to my efforts, this civilization here encountered the Star Wars universe, Tolkien (who was absent in this world), and many other cult sagas a little earlier than in my past world, only in my interpretation and with adjustments. Palpatine did not fall into madness, the hordes of bloodthirsty orcs in The Lord of the Rings together with Mordor were, on the contrary, a reference to America and not to the Soviet Union, which never arose in the expanses of our planet. Also, in this reality, American comics did not become the prototype and interpretation of manga; on the contrary, it was exactly the opposite.

As a result, in this reality, the whole world waits with bated breath for the continuation of one saga or another to be released in Russia, which has an enormous number of fans worldwide. And Japan, as in the past world and in this one, delights the world with manga and anime.

Returning to Ron, he turned out to be a big fan of Palpatine in my interpretation, and after seeing him perform the Lightning of the Force, he became passionate about learning to perform this technique, but not through strength, rather through magic.

In the Rocky Shelter, there's been a widespread fascination with all this Eastern theme for a long time, and on playgrounds, you can see young cosplayers wearing forehead protectors or in kosode portraying shinobi or shinigami from Bleach staging harmless scuffles.

Although a significant role in this growing interest of children—witchers, manga, and anime—was also played by the joining of the order knights and becoming a witcher of the old tsukumogami. He made a strong impression with his monumentality and the strength of spirit he exuded. Why did the spirited kids strongly gravitate towards him and consequently became immersed in the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun and bushido?

How did this yōkai become my vassal? Two years ago, I received a message from Kenmei, asking me to come to China and, if possible, not to delay the visit too much because an interesting meeting awaited me there. Naturally, this aroused my curiosity, and without hesitation, almost immediately after receiving the invitation message, I moved to my vassal's residence in Beijing, where he now serves as the Head of the Board of Directors of the Chinese Empire.

As soon as I found myself in the spacious hall where my old friend Nurarihyon had settled his huge presence on large cushions, I immediately turned my attention to the second intelligent being present there, sitting opposite Kenmei, only in the seiza posture. In my short life in this world, I encountered such a representative of the mystical world for the first time – it was an ayakashi tsukumogami: an object lucky enough to have gained a full-fledged soul and mind.

In this case, the physical body of the Japanese demon was an ō-yoroi – a samurai armor, and if you look closely at the details, its ancientness becomes immediately clear, as does the fact that it clearly once belonged to a very high-ranking intelligent being. Judging by its distinctive and characteristic features, the armor is no less than a thousand years old, and I'm not talking about its external condition. It looked as if it had just come from the hands of the blacksmith and the artists who decorated it with jewelers.

What a joke of fate! When this armor was made, its creators and the client wished to give it the most threatening appearance possible and make it look indistinguishable from the form of a real demon. Heh... And now this armor in essence is a bearer of demonic negativity, embodied and having acquired personality. Yeah....

And the tsukumogami I saw is about three times stronger than Kenmei, and yet the old tanuki now is in no way inferior to the archdemons of Goetia.

When I first arrived at my friend's residence, I was invisible, but all my skills and abilities couldn't hide me from the perception of the old warrior. Somehow, he managed to sense the attention directed at him, even though I completely isolated my soul from the surrounding world and could not distort the energy environment with fluctuations. What saved me from completely losing heart and being disappointed in my own concealment skills then was the fact that although the demonic spirit of the armor sensed the presence of a foreigner in the nearby space, it lacked the skills and abilities to pinpoint my exact location. And this fact alone was enough to interest him. Being able to sense directed foreign attention, especially when it was so well concealed by me, is an incredible talent, and he most likely has an innate gift for this. Otherwise, I cannot explain such an incident. That's what I thought then and I turned out to be right in my judgment.

I didn't keep Kenmei's guest waiting long with my attention that irritated his essence, since I already figured out his power level and abilities, and without explicitly using diagnostic spells that my opponent could notice, unfortunately, there was no way to learn more, so I decided to reveal myself.

Dropping invisibility, I appeared comfortably sprawled by the small table where the old yōkai were sitting, but not in my usual European guise, instead wearing a kimono and already holding a cup filled with sake blessed by Amaterasu, while the two yōkai were drinking tea.

My appearance caused a slight surprise in Kenmei, as he didn't really believe I would respond so promptly to his message, and the tsukumogami completely released his tension. The whole time I observed him invisibly, he was like a pistol with a cocked hammer, ready to strike the target instantly. But as soon as I revealed myself and stopped hiding my true nature from those around me, at that moment, I was not yet a black hole in the energy sight.Since he had not yet become Jörmungandr, having detected something important in my nature, he stopped radiating suspicion and completely released his tension. Apparently, what he was able to feel and understand from what he sensed satisfied the demon of the ancient Japanese armor.

And then, in a leisurely conversation, he told us who he was.

He became aware of himself in a gorge and knew very little about himself, only that he was a samurai who needed to find a lord to serve faithfully and devotedly. And with that goal, he set out on his journey. I don't know who the previous owner of the armor was, in which this yokai was born, but they were definitely a very strong, extraordinary personality, and perhaps even gifted. Isao (a name I personally gave later to my newly made vassal, as he was nameless before) had no memories of the past owner of the armor who gave him life, but he retained their beliefs, unshakable will, and worldview, which fully and without deviation aligned with the Bushido code. And let me tell you, Japan was very fortunate that the yokai born had exactly such views of the world, and the residual energies, the astral imprint of the deceased armor owner, which influenced and shaped Isao's personality, was that of a true samurai with a steel will. Had it been otherwise, I think Japan would have faced a great catastrophe. Why suddenly? Because tsukumogami are a dead-end branch of the ayakashi race. They cannot evolve and do not gain strength with the years lived, always remaining at the developmental level they were born with. Considering that in the first days of their life, as they become self-aware, they are very emotionally unstable, this usually leads to their detection and destruction. Even the most ragged rural onmyoji is capable of dispelling such unclean spirits. But Isao is an anomaly. Looking at him through energetic vision, I have serious doubts that even Nurarihyon in his prime years could handle him. And that was the 15th century, when Isao saw the blue sky upon opening his eyes and becoming self-aware, and at that time Nura was still alive and considered the strongest demon on the Japanese islands. So if Isao had decided to unleash a bloody bacchanalia, stopping him would have required the strongest imperial clan mages and the oldest yokai to unite, which for obvious reasons was basically impossible at that time due to the terrible racism of the onmyoji and other gifted humans living in Japan toward non-humans.

Isao traveled a lot, but all his wandering took place far from civilization, as he soon realized that finding a master among humans was an impossible task for him, and the only one he considered worthy to be a master to an ayakashi like himself was Nurarihyon. But alas, by the time he learned about such an extraordinary personality, Nura was already gone. (No one knew that the strongest ekai in Japan had been killed. To everyone, he simply disappeared).

And all this time, while Nura was considered missing, Tsukumogami was busy honing his skills in dealing with yokai and weapons. For more than three centuries, this character, having settled in the mountains in one of many abandoned temples, did nothing but refine his mastery of the katana, demonic techniques inherent to the ayakashi race, wrote haikus, painted pictures, and did not distract himself with anything else! Sleep and food were generally unnecessary for this type of ayakashi.

And he would have continued sitting in seclusion if a familiar tengu hadn't informed him that Nura had reappeared.

Upon learning this joyful news, he packed his belongings and set off on "my" search, which led him to Kenmei.

That's how I got a new vassal, who I turned into a witcher. It was an interesting challenge: to transform a demonic spirit into another race. And now Isao, without losing any of his previous strength and skills, gained the ability to grow beyond himself, since his new race had no limitations in development.

Now he is the most persistent applicant to the Citadel, where he eagerly absorbs new knowledge, and also dedicates five hours a day to teaching, training witcher children in katana handling.
