Noel PoV
Taking a step into the sand and turning to face my opponent, I transformed my angel tool into a broad sword. It wasn't the best for a duel, but it was what I was used to.
Zayn scoffed. "A broadsword? Didn't expect one of your stature to use such a heavy thing."
"I'm stronger than I look," I said, trying to sound confident.
"I see. We shall see about that," he said, a smirk playing on his lips. He raised his right hand. The amethyst ring in his middle finger glowed. The glow died down and shook his head. "No angel tool. It would be dishonorable to use one against a merchant."
I gritted my teeth. His arrogance was suffocating. He saw me not as an opponent, but as an ant to be crushed under his boot.
"Begin!" the sultan yelled.
Zayn didn't move. He just stood there, his hands clasped behind his back, a calm, confident smile on his face. He was baiting me, testing me, waiting for me to make the first move.
