I gripped my sword as me and my fellow warriors fought off the rest of the new umbra armies.
Garmr, Laelaps, and Xolotl were now facing off against the three archangels. A part of me wanted to jump in and help, but I knew it'd be a death wish. I wasn't at that level yet.
Shockwaves shook the dark sea all around as the three beasts clashed with the three archangels. The waves of shadow struck the floating rock island. We stabbed the ground to avoid being swept away.
Kushina covered herself and the rest of the Taeyang with a light barrier to keep the dark waves from drowning us.
Aquarina chased the reformed Garmr, her spear trailing streams of holy water that carved glowing paths through the shadows. The massive hound moved with terrifying speed despite his size, black flames trailing behind him like a comet.
