Chapter 858 - Chapter 858 : Did Dad Get Mad At Me And Run Away From Home?

They even asked Ming Yutong, but she directly threw down Fu Yinxi's parents' contact information, saying any issues should be taken up with them. The matter of the child had nothing to do with her.

When Ming Yutong was discharged, she was accompanied by her brother. Her brother came to M country to take her back after she called home, complaining and crying about having regrets after giving birth.

Fu Yinxiu's eyes turned red with anger, but he still pulled up the surveillance footage from that day. Sure enough, he saw Ming Yutong leaving with a man without looking back. The footage wasn't clear, but the figure was undoubtedly Ming Yutong's.

Despite this, Fu Yinxiu still called Ming Yutong, but her number was no longer in service.

It was the first time Fu Yinxiu had tolerated a woman to such an extent. He thought that as long as she returned and admitted her mistake, he would forgive her.

He would tell her that she didn't need to worry about the child

They would raise the child, and there would be someone to help take care of him. Her life wouldn't change one bit after having the child.

It was the first time he compromised so much for a woman.

Even if she had left first, as long as she was willing to come back, he could set aside his pride and accept her. In the past, if a woman left, she left. He wouldn't give her a second chance. But with Ming Yutong, he made an exception, even with a hint of pleading.

But Ming Yutong never returned.

Fu Yinxiu came back to his senses, seeing Little Jingshi looking at him in confusion, wondering what he had been thinking. His face immediately darkened, "Does she look like she misses you? She's doing just fine without you, living her life wonderfully."

"But she cried," Little Jingshi said.

Fu Yinxiu's lips pressed together in a moment of surprise.

"That time at the hospital, when she heard I didn't have a mom, she cried! She misses me!" Little Jingshi said firmly.

"Remember this, a woman's tears are never something to trust," Fu Yinxiu said sternly.

"I don't care, I want my mom! I want to find her!" Little Jingshi shouted, his little face turning red with urgency.

"You are not allowed to go!" Fu Yinxiu said angrily, "You are not allowed to go!"

"I will go, you can't stop me!" Little Jingshi shouted back at Fu Yinxiu, "I want my mom, I just want my mom! Everyone else has a mom, and I want one too!"

With that, he rushed back to his room, slammed the door, and threw himself onto the bed, crying into his pillow.

Aunt Huo, who had heard the argument, didn't dare to intervene.

When she saw Little Jingshi running back to his room in tears, she looked at Fu Yinxiu with a troubled expression.

A child so young, what couldn't be said gently?

Hearing Little Jingshi crying and calling for his mom was truly heartbreaking. The child did nothing wrong

He just missed his mom.

Aunt Huo felt pity in her heart but heard Fu Yinxiu say, "Don't worry about him! He's spoiled rotten!"

With that, he turned around and slammed the door shut.

Aunt Huo sighed. Fu Yinxiu might criticize Little Jingshi, but their tempers were exactly the same.

Aunt Huo walked to Little Jingshi's bedroom door. The child never liked others to know when he was crying. Today, he must have felt very wronged to be crying out loud like this.

At this moment, Aunt Huo didn't dare to comfort him. If she did, it would only make Little Jingshi feel even more embarrassed. Helpless, she could only sigh again and return to her room, pretending not to know about it.

The next morning, Little Jingshi came downstairs with his backpack, arriving at the dining room but not seeing Fu Yinxiu, who usually got up earlier than him. Only his own breakfast was on the table: a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns, a sunny-side-up egg drizzled with sweet soy sauce, and a small plate of pickled cucumbers.

Beside them was a small carton of milk, which Aunt Huo had prepared for him to take to school as a snack during break time. Aunt Huo insisted he needed a carton of milk every day to help him grow taller.

Little Jingshi looked at Aunt Huo, pouting, wanting to ask where his father was but feeling too proud to do so.

Aunt Huo understood and smiled, saying, "Mr. Fu left with his luggage this morning."

Little Jingshi, who had just taken a sip of porridge, was so surprised that he almost dropped his spoon. "Did Dad get mad at me and run away from home?"

Aunt Huo: "..."

"Mr. Fu is on a business trip for two days. He'll probably be back the day after tomorrow, or the day after that," Aunt Huo quickly explained.

Fu Yinxiu had planned to tell Little Jingshi about it last night, but after their argument, he was so angry that he forgot.

Little Jingshi, feeling down, said, "Oh," finished his breakfast, and was then taken to school by Alpha Guard.

Ming Yutong had been busy all day. Today was particularly hectic

Her brain was constantly working, and she couldn't relax for a moment. Now, her head was throbbing, and her eyes were dry. She took a deep breath, leaned back in her chair, and pressed her thumb and index finger against the inner corners of her eyes.

The pressure brought a bit of moisture to her eyes, relieving the dryness slightly. She then took some eye drops from her desk drawer and put a few drops in her eyes. After wiping away the excess with a tissue, someone knocked on her office door.

"Come in," Ming Yutong said, putting the eye drops back in the drawer.

The door opened, and Yang Minglang stood at the entrance. Surprisingly, there was someone behind him.

"President Ming, Mr. Jiang is here," Yang Minglang said.

Before Yang Minglang could say more, Jiang Lulian had already stepped forward from behind him.
