"Honey, wake up."
"Hm?"
As Xiaoyun opened his eyes, a shadow was blocking out the light. It was Leyan's chest that was hovering right above him.
"Didn't you say you have an important meeting with Yueyue today? She's already waiting for you downstairs."
"Meeting? What day is today?"
"October 21st. Why are you asking that—"
"Shit!"
Before she could finish talking, the empty bed was the only thing that remained, as the bathroom door had been opened.
"Honey, you had been waking up later and later every day," Leyan murmured as she stepped into the bathroom.
"I wonder why."
Xiaoyun's answer immediately caused her face to blush red. Still, she didn't shy away from reiterating her point.
"I already told you only to do it over the weekend. Why have you been pushing yourself so much for the past few weeks?"
"Because I love you, babe."
After rinsing his teeth, Xiaoyun quickly grabbed a face towel and wiped off all the leftover marks around his face and neck.
