Chapter 67 Trouble Within the Castle
Hallow looks to his sister in pure disappointment as the woman rages at him. Her screams would carry down the hall if not for the silencing wards that were in place. He wonders why the woman would go forward with such a plan without knowing the full extent of the Exl crisis.
Well, he knew why. The reason the two of them were always at odd with Isabella. She was the clear favorite sibling. Mother Vesper favored her daughter far more than she did them. Not to mention Father's lack of support for the two of them until recently.
Support that was mostly pushed through by their Mother—Sharia. A snake of a woman that Hallow despises dealing with. After all he has to deal with the snakes in the church enough to want to have to deal with it within his own family.
