When Sasuke heard that the man with the tiger-striped mask claimed to be Uchiha Madara, he was momentarily stunned.
"A masked coward like that? There's no way he's the legendary Uchiha Madara."
After all, Lord Charles had once mentioned Madara during the campaign in Jotunheim. Back then, Lord Charles had reportedly summoned a replica of Madara, similar to how Second Hokage's Edo Tensei worked.
That version of Uchiha Madara was so powerful that even Thor held him in high regard.
But the man from Itachi's memory? He didn't fit that description at all.
Sasuke reflected on his own growth. After all, the Third Hokage sacrificed his life merely to seal Orochimaru's arms, whereas Sasuke himself had killed Orochimaru completely.
If that masked man were truly Uchiha Madara, his power would have been enough to sweep through Konoha of that era. With Senju Hashirama long deceased, and even the Second Hokage gone for years, who could have stopped him?
Itachi, after a brief moment of thought, spoke, "He claims to be Uchiha Madara. While I could never confirm his identity, his Mangekyō Sharingan was unique—it did not suffer from blindness."
"The Sharingan has several levels, and above the Mangekyō Sharingan is the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."
"Ordinary Mangekyō Sharingan imposes a significant burden on the user. Overuse of its unique abilities leads to blindness and physical toll."
"However, these drawbacks are eliminated when the eyes evolve into the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."
"It's said that this evolution can only occur by transplanting another person's Mangekyō Sharingan, and even then, it's not guaranteed."
"The closer the blood relation, the higher the success rate. So far, the only known wielder of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan is Uchiha Madara."
Hearing this explanation, Sasuke immediately realized a concerning detail—the risk of blindness from overusing the Mangekyō Sharingan. He quickly asked, "Itachi, what about your eyes?"
Itachi replied calmly, "There's nothing wrong with them."
"It might be due to the fusion with my future self, which strengthened my body and Uchiha bloodline. I haven't experienced any loss of vision."
"Or perhaps it's due to Lord Charles's enhancements. While I feel that I've lost some techniques and abilities, the physical pain and vision issues have disappeared."
"Regardless of the exact reason, this is good for us. Effectively, we are like possessors of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."
Despite losing certain abilities, Itachi had gained the ability to freely use his Mangekyō Sharingan without concern for its drawbacks.
His endurance and stamina in prolonged battles had also improved, compensating for the loss of some trump cards.
Sasuke, hearing this, expressed his gratitude in his mind, 'Thank you, Lord Charles.'
However, Sasuke remained skeptical about the masked man claiming to be Madara, "If that man truly were Uchiha Madara, it's true that the limitations of the Mangekyō Sharingan wouldn't apply to him."
He continued probing, "Do you have any other information on that so-called Madara?"
Itachi pondered for a moment and replied, "He remained hidden within the Akatsuki. I suspect he had some ulterior motive, but I could never uncover his exact plans."
"But now that we are in this world, everything from the ninja world should be in the past."
Sasuke, however, shook his head resolutely, "It's not over."
"The massacre of our clan—how could that ever be over?"
"Itachi, do you honestly think Lord Charles will resurrect every member of the Uchiha clan?"
"The elders, the children—do you believe he'll bring them all back?"
Itachi fell silent at Sasuke's words. He too doubted that Lord Charles could revive the entire Uchiha clan.
Bringing even one person to this world seemed costly, or else Lord Charles wouldn't be constantly gathering energy-based resources.
Moreover, while Lord Charles had brought back many ninja over the years, even approaching a hundred, that number was insignificant compared to the entire ninja world, let alone the Uchiha clan or Konoha.
Based on Itachi's observations, Lord Charles typically brought over ninja who either possessed exceptional potential or were already renowned and powerful.
Up to now, only four members of the Uchiha clan had been brought to this world.
However, Itachi believed that the situation wasn't entirely hopeless. As long as they could produce more Blood Cores—artifacts infused with the energy Lord Charles needed—there was a chance more Uchiha clan members could be brought over.
While this was Itachi's perspective, he maintained a serious demeanor and said, "As long as we can create more Blood Cores and provide energy-rich items that Lord Charles requires, I believe our clan members will have the opportunity to come here."
Sasuke, hearing Itachi's insistence, didn't argue but instead replied, "That's your responsibility."
"I will also do my part to restore the Uchiha clan to its former glory."
Itachi then asked, "Now that you know the truth, what are your plans?"
Sasuke thought for a moment before responding, "Konoha no longer exists, but I will lead the Uchiha clan to reclaim the pinnacle in this world."
"As for those disgusting individuals, if Lord Charles has not brought them over, so be it."
"But if they are fortunate enough to come to this world, I will personally send them back to the afterlife."
Seeing that Sasuke still clung to his desire for revenge, Itachi asked, "What if Lord Charles forbids us from internal conflict? After all, those brought over are meant to contribute."
Sasuke scoffed, "If Lord Charles doesn't permit killing them, then I'll simply break their limbs."
"Sometimes, living can be far more painful than death."
Itachi, noticing Sasuke's unyielding resolve, shook his head and cautioned, "Don't act in ways that would displease Lord Charles. Think about the clan members who have yet to arrive."
Sasuke nodded slightly, saying, "I know my limits. Besides, those individuals might never even have the chance to come here."
Itachi, however, determined internally to ensure that Sasuke avoided unnecessary conflict with the other ninja.
After all, they weren't just dealing with a few individuals—there were entire relationships of teachers and students involved. Sasuke's current strength wasn't yet sufficient to confront them head-on.
With that, Itachi released Sasuke from the constraints of the Tsukuyomi space.
The brothers shifted their conversation to lighter topics—specifically, amusing events that had occurred at the agency after Itachi left and areas where Sasuke could improve in his combat techniques.
