Both men looked at Sienna Johnson simultaneously. Wayne Manning, with a face full of ash, wiped his face with a handkerchief and said in a deliberately gentlemanly manner, "Sienna, why do you say that?"
"You can go out without a hand, but can you go out without clothes? My hand, if chopped off, doesn't affect Sixth Master going out." Sienna Johnson's every word was barbed, which infuriated Adrian Desmond. "Sixth Master, don't you always say that?"
"I'm not old! I'm only a few years older than you!"
Wayne Manning glanced at him with disdain and said, "I say, Adrian, aren't you of Orienta descent? And you even married a Chinese wife. You should at least brush up on your Chinese, shouldn't you? 'Old' here isn't actually calling you old; it's a term of respect, don't you know?"
