"I need your promise that you won't hurt my family!"
Noah Phillips needed a guarantee, even though a guarantee didn't hold much binding force. Now that he was trapped, with unknown life and death, this was the most he could do.
"I'm not a homicidal maniac! As long as people don't provoke me, I won't kill indiscriminately," Night Owl promised.
"Alright. I believe you."
"Speak," Night Owl didn't have much patience.
"In Riverfront City, not far from the Children's Home, there's an abandoned old mansion, known as the Haunted House. When Sienna Johnson and I were little, we often snuck in to play, our secret code was: 'I'm not a ghost!'"
After Noah Phillips finished, he hung up the phone.
Night Owl froze for a moment, never expecting that after waiting three days, Noah Phillips would be so stingy and only tell him this one thing.
